Frost dying makes lot of sense, since it’s her way to repent her mistake of helping Caitlin free Deathstorm. Caitlin will probably mentally break soon, as her obsession with Ronnie caused Deathstorm to rise (against the team’s warnings) and forced Frost to sacrifice herself to stop him. I do feel sorry for so many things she’s been through and she deserves better, but this one is totally on her.

Not normally one to point out the illogic of a death scenen, I would still be remissed if I didn't mention that there is no logical reason to yell clear while using the pattles on frost.. only Barry and her in the room, and Barry is like 5 feet away and not performing CPR. So it is procedurally unnecessary for that to be said between shocks.

Frost really should have survived absorbing Deathstorm's energy. Not because we wanted her to live, but because her transformation into Hellfrost should have made her capable of handling the surgical energy. It is colf fusion just like hers, after all. Even Barry and Chester said it would make her "the Anti-Deathstorm" so logically she should have been immune. I can't believe Deathstorm got the last laugh and now Caitlin is all alone again🥺😢😭

Probably one of the worst deaths in the flash. Cool start to the fight then she just rips the core that allows deathstorm to transform out and its over. Then everyones happy that she might survive then she dies. Sparking the next seasons whole "bring frost back arc" which just kind of sucks. The flash went from a great show to just bad after s6 id say (s6 is the weakest of the good seasons though)

Frost should never have died her powers were something different to her original abilities like dark frost similar to anti-matter or something mystical and from the realms of Frost's giant's Norse origin. Looks like at some point they would have stopped and said, hey...this is getting worse, maybe we should go back a few steps. I went a little while without watching and just planned to catch up with a binge watching weekend.
