Sweeney's hotdog truck has been down there for well over 50 years and was probably the first food truck to park on Long Wharf. Now there are maybe a couple dozen. El Cubano has a truck and makes an incredible "classic Cuban" sandwich. Great video!

Next time you come down to Connecticut definitely have to come to Bridgeport, 15 minutes south on 95 and try Cape Verdean food, a mix of West African and Portuguese creole cusine. Plus there's all type of ethnic foods it's a melting pot of all different type of nationalities and cuisine to try from every day of the week.

It's a small bakery on Main St in Bridgeport called Visual Aroma, I think on the weekends they make some of the Cape Verdean specials such as Katchupa and other goodies

If you have trouble digesting dairy and oily foods try eating a few lactaid pills before. I became mildly lactose intolerant later in life, eating a few lactaids before dairy or oily foods helps me digest normally.

I love the Food Truck scene nowadays. Unlike the old Roach Wagons that have become a thing of the past. Mostly because they were selling nuked prepackaged food. From today's Food Trucks I can get food that is as good and/or better than in a lot of fancy restaurants. And I'm also like you, look for the longest lines, unless it's a dessert truck. Dessert's just aren't a real concern for me anymore.
