I do think Hit and Runs tragic backstory could potentially be explored in future G.I.Joe stories. Imagine Hit and Run having a very grim viloent personality and the other Joes struggle with him because of that, I think that would make for some cool stories with him.

Hama was a combat engineer I think. His writing often included some interesting ingenuity that most writers wouldn't think of. (Who remembers how Trip Wire disassembled a Terror Drome with explosives, and the Joes loaded the sections onto rail cars with an improvised crane?)

I first thought Hit ‘n Run was a third variant of Footloose and Grunt, then I read Tom Clancy’s Clear and Present Danger & saw just how different and effective Light Infantry can be; by rights, Hit ‘n Run should be paired with Lt. Falcon.

How did I just find this channel? Love your content. H&R was top 3 for me based on his tactical look. I Sharpied over the orange googles on mine when I was a kid. Those were the days. Think about how much of the RAH story you've told...it scratches the surface. This is how much Hasbro has pissed on. They have had a GOLDMINE on the shelf for decades. They've never given a true effort to a simply modernized (mainly update from the Vietnam Era origins to later timeframe) storyline. I need a loan from Elon Musk to buy the rights from Hasbro. I don't THINK G.I. Joe could be brought back with huge succes, I KNOW it could. They have hundreds of issues of comics to draw from for inspiration for animated and/or live action series or movies. Endless modern camo patterns of the world, more Gucci'ed up gear to go off of, newer molding material and tech. They have 20+ years of War on Terror for back story, more public awareness of Special Operations and world terrorists organizations. Sorry, I'm ranting. This will sound silly but I swear it's true. The old Commadore 64 game Airborne Ranger, my upbringing as an Army Brat with Vietnam vet, career combat arms father and G.I. Joe, literally were the reasons I wanted to and became an Airborne Ranger. My two boys don't have privilege of growing up with anything like G.I. Joe from the 80's and that's sad.

6:12 On this page Stalker says "Get with the program ladies!" Really?! I don't like this line at all because any coach or sergent calling a group of men under thier comand "ladies" to get them fired up is just sexist. It's also very out of character for Stalker, esspecially when he works with Scarlett on a lot of missions and he knows how strong she is. I don't think Larry Hama had the word "Ladies" in his script for this issue because I know he knows better, I think it's fair to assume that the editor added that in, editors do change things in comics more than their given credit for.

@@johnconnolly2773 don’t give me that bull, I know why they do crap like this not only in the military but also in sports, including school sports because of toxic masculinity! I’m not the one who’s judging something I don’t understand, it’s those coaches and sergeants that are judging things they don’t understand, that being the idea of women being strong!
