Thank you for excellent video. Question pls: i have a 2007 Rav4 2.4L, with 207,000 miles. So, could the timing chain, the oil pump and the water pump be replaced with the car sitting on the floor, or does the car have to be lifted up or even the engine and the transmission together, have to be taken out of the engine bay to do this job. Thank you

Yes, absolutely it can be done on the floor and with out removing the engine, unfortunetely I have videos on this but they are in spanish, it is a little different than this camry but similar.

About the timing tensioner, the lock clip wasn't removed so how will the timing tensioner be able to release and push out against the chain tension slipper to prevent timing chain jump when you started the car?

it releases it as soon as the engine starts turning when you turn it by hand or either when you turn it on for the first time after done with the job but usually every mechanic will rotate the engine a few times before turning it on, this tensiner is designed to work like this.

Were did you get the timing chain kit? And did you replace the cam sproket bolts?

I did not buy the timing chain kit, The Owner did it, but the chain tensioner came out bad, yes sprockets bolts were replaced. thanks for the time on the channel.

Timing chain tensioner????

tensioner was installed on the timing cover before installing the timing cover, it can be seen on the cover already installed, you also can install it after installing the timing cover, I have shown the 2 ways on how to install the tensioner on other jobs on same vehicles before installing the t cover and after installing the t cover.

@@jonathangarzon2798 make sure there are no motor mounts on right side n also in front of the car n jack up the engine as much as you can upto wha ever is safe n you will have the space
