I know a guy that used to donate blood to get money for steel reserve. I helped him every way I could, with his resume and whatnot. I also drove him to 7-Eleven for steel reserve. Felt bad but he was getting there one way or another and he lived in a shit neighbourhood. I bought him a used TV on craigslist cause his one was stolen while he was passed out with the door open. I remember how the cops asked him if he was native and then immediately asked him if he was wasted when it was stolen. They were right, but they were also wrong. Those are some depressing ass memories that were just awakened. The perfect beer for this movie.

its rare that i can brag about this-i saw thor perform live with his band and met him around the time this pos was made(but hadnt come out yet). he did everything you could hope for: bent the crowbar, blew up the water bottle things with his mouth, etc. for some reason he was wearing a predator(as in predator the movie)mask for the first few songs. then he changed into what he looks like in this movie and 'fought' a demon while the band was playing. he got the demon on the ground, asked us if he should kill it with his sword and......let it go. i brought my deluxe edition of RNR nightmare for him to sign but forgot it in the car. he was very nice in person and cool as hell with the fans.

Jon Mikl Thor has a documentary called "I Am Thor" that talks about some of his exploits in more detail. He was a bodybuilder who won Mr USA and Mr Canada, and his band Thor released their debut under that name in '77. Wild to think Jon Mikl Thor was releasing music before Metallica's debut album had released. Also wild to think as an award winning body builder, he would go on to have this physique 😅
