Yeah, in Garou all chars have two types of cancel: the break, which in mostly cases is for their dp moves (funny enough, Rock is one of the few exceptions) and the feint moves (which debuted in the Real Bout series) where You fake a special move (like the Ryu Hadouken taunt in alpha series). The feint moves are used to cancel normals and extend combos (for example: Terry can do close Fierce, feint move, crounching Fierce, feint move, crounching fierce into Buster Wolf. That's Terry's most common combo in Garou)

I don't know if it's already been pointed out, but rock's jacket shows an interesting detail. Under garou logo, there's a writing saying "keep the faith" and it may stay for something like "we're working on garou 2, and it's gonna be great. Don't lose hope, you're gonna get it!!". And yes, it would be great as hell.

The DLC Team Garou is well-rounded overall. Honestly the cast of MotW was so deep! I would love to see Freeman, Tizoc, and either Kevin or Hotaru added. Honorable mentions are Hokutomaru (pupil of Mai and Andy) and Kim Kaphwan's sons, Dong Hwan and Jae Hoon. Actually, having the Kim family as one team would be nice as well.

Funny think is I tested the exact last Trial combo in training. It leaves the player at magic pixel. You need to add in a jumping normal to make it 100%.

All the MotW characters kept their Breaking techniques when brought to KoF. They even retroactively added Breaking to Andy's Kuuhadan as a reference to how Hokutomaru could do it.

A Tier? Dude has Dp that you can cancel, Projectile,Command move that combos even from light and far reaching neutral moves,Command grab that combos and you can cancel it,Parry that knocks down or combos,a running stance that you can cancel/mixup or combo with and you have a fucking install that makes you a boss character basically the only thing Rock lacks is a decent cross up. Rock will be his own tier above everyone else

@@gentleman_tk also his cancellable dp is the heavy one, which has no invincibility, only his light one does. And I don't think the counters are active on frame 1 and has punishable recovery when baited. Install also not worth it, as it's 3 bars and does less damage than the regular climax, it's really just for fun imo. Otherwise he's really good and solid, but not overwhelmingly powerful. Definitely a versatile high damage character though

I am maining rock too, the damage man, Dragon punch, dragon kick is fun, that counter is great, level 2 combo is devasting, a game changer, really happy with it. Gato looks so cool, I am a fan, not a main but will be at some point !

Rock Is Geese's Son, the reason he have Terry's moves is because after Geese's death, Terry then encountered Rock and decided to take care of him, also teaching him how to fight.

In the Fatal Fury continuity, Geese died & Terry adopted Rock to break the cycle of violence. Even though Geese is still alive in the KoF continuity, Terry likely adopted & raised Rock for similar reasons.

Yes, i was about to point that too. Gato's LV2 on that mission should be cancelled right after the knee hit connects for max damage. And in the previous trial, he could do the same after the LV1, but the timing is a bit more strict, as it has to be just in the frame Gato lands after the neck snap.
