I feel like JMSN planned a slow burn at the beginning of his career so that he wouldn't just be this awesome all the sudden and have difficulty topping himself. It's like he's always known he'd easily reach this point and wanted to get all the learnings in along the way without ever showing his full hand. Every album and song just keeps getter better and better.
