It's so ironic to me. When I was a kid, I was a huge fan of 50 Cent. And there were some older kids, hip-hop nerds, who were into guys like Vinnie Paz. And they used to diss 50 relentlessly, saying he's not true hip-hop etc. If only they could hear this.

I've been a fan for like 15 years and it's really nice hearing this to be honest. A lot of old-head fans that I know are automatically against anything that comes our of the new trap culture just because it's autotuned - and they think they are true to the game by automatically hating the whole genre and progress. There was a time when I was one of these guys, hating the new stuff, however it's a huge sign of growth if you learn to be more open-minded and change some of your stances on things. Keep rocking Vinnie, you are in my top 5 list and always will be.

Likes going from hard to melody quick in a song. Not surprised with how calm some of Stoupes beats could be and how wild JMT lyrics are. Makes sense. Also makes sense why he says he listens to metal so often. All that Slipknot / Mushroomhead stuff was always extremely aggressive while throwing in parts of pretty random singing here and there. 50 cent is definitely a smart cookie too. Growing up in Queens, hadn't quite heard something like his original mixtapes. Not only did he just very slighty sing the choruses, his vocals were layered in the way that early Sean Price/Bootcamp would of done vocal layering which had pretty much already peaked in popularity by that time so he was able to reinvent the wheel a bit.

@@terrystahl962 that 1st sentence was perfect. & yes there's many addicts but thats mostly contained to a certain area just like they do in every city. But what tops that is our shooting homicides, you may see the addicts in Kensington but you can get shot anywhere in the ciry which is pretty convenient for people with guns which is most people these days except a lot of people can't aim for shit & will fire shots in public area. It used to be a few shots in the target at close range and that was very professional & courteous to other people but unfortunately etiquette has been lost over time. But stabbings are still respectful, its keeps noise to a minimum & doesn't affect innocent bystanders so those guys still have some manners & are mindful of others & thats nice to see.
