The first time I saw Korn was 2002 on their Untouchables tour. No phones. No white screens. Just a sea of people going nuts to the heavy riffs, song after song. Back then you were either getting bounced around in the mosh pit or bumped in the head by a crowd surfer as they made their way by. And it was awesome. Everyone in it together. You’d leave soaked in sweat (most of it not your own) but still have a huge smile on your face after being intensely present with the experience. I miss those days. If you lived it too, you’ll understand.

Thank you for posting this!! I had asked my mom if she was okay with watching my 2 kids so that me & my husband could go & she said yes. So I bought my tickets back in march. But 2 weeks ago she changed her mind & we have no one to watch my kids. I had to sell our tickets and lost $150. I hope whoever bought my tickets had a great night 😭

Why would your Mom do that?!?
@areli6133Ай бұрын
She said she doesn’t think my toddler can handle being 3+ hours apart from her parents (me & my husband). But I think she just didn’t want the responsibility of taking care of my 6 month old & 2.5 yr old :( she’s not exactly the supportive type. She rarely ever helps out.
@brucewang3113Ай бұрын
@@areli6133 wow that’s extremely lazy considering it wouldn’t be that long, I’m sorry you had to deal with that! Besides I would think a good Grandma would love to hang with her Grandchildren. Hopefully next time KoRn plays you and your man get to go and have a good babysitter!
@LeadMe2TheBlissАй бұрын
@@brucewang3113 I agree. It's not a huge sacrifice to watch the kids so others can go out and enjoy a concert. Especially if you're the grandparent, she doesn't sound like a very supportive grandma.

One of my favorite metal bands! The self titled album was one of my first metal albums that my mom gave me and so grateful she introduced me to them and I was only 10 at the time. I've seen these guys so many times I've lost count. The best part about them is they stay true to who they are as a band and they always sound amazing and consistent. When my wife and I met, she wasn't into metal until I took her to her first Korn concert, now she's a fan to this day. Can't believe they've been kicking ass for 30 years!
