I really like JND’s work but I think Hot toys wins for likeness of Heath Ledger.

I think the silicone jacks up the price compared to the others. They needed to nail the likeness for this one and they didn’t, so thats why its blowing up in the 1/6 community. Its 800 shipped for the single version and 1600 shipped for the double.

I think I agree, Hot Toys then InArt then this (I actually think the ultimate figure was the Hot Toys sculpt on the InArt body lol). I think the head it too big on this, at least compared to the body, and you're right the makeup looks too messy, so unless you really want a seamless neck for $500 then the Hot Toys is the better option. Three Jokers for people to choose from is great for fans though!

Exactly, the more options the better. Best bang for the buck would be hot toys IMO, Inart is the for the completionist ( needs 2 Jokers) This is more for the ultra fans.

My only criticism is the coat didn’t improve in the collar hooks and the hair might need some rework depending how I see it in person - which is terrible because I will still customize and for the price this should be ready for display as soon as it gets out of the box.

@ there’s no doubt about that - disappointment here is based on the price but there’s a strong consensus of hatred towards this piece objectively speaking. Is it perfect? No it’s not. Are there better jokers out there? Yup that’s for certain. A custom joker head can up north of +$750 USD for a single head alone and I’ve seen them in 5k which is madness. However they all lack the quality paint job that these three companies offer, including the rolling eyes. Inart captured Heath the best but the sculpt is soft and the eyes are off. Hot toys is the best overall - reserving judgement because it has the likeness + realism the best of them all. And JND ultimately is the most hyper realistic with potentially the worse likeness until we see him in a review since the camera lense can affect our perception of reality. I’d say let’s give it a fair opportunity. I personally will get it - if I hate it I can sell it and probably make my money back. But I thought Aragorn was awful until I got it and fixed the hair. Collector’s are mad because they expected the best joker and we got something competitive with technology no other joker had but we must remember this product is for another market - I am sacrificing the possibility of having 7 figures but I am of the mindset of quality over quantity. Everyone has their perspective but I really don’t get the hate.

Disappointing, especially when taking the price into account, and that it's a debut piece. He looks too old, full in the face, and not as much like Heath as both the Inart and recent Hot Toys version. He looks good when viewed from the side and 2/3 profile, but off when looking at him straight on. It also looks nowhere near as good as their recently announced 1/6 Catwoman.

Those head sculpts are not from the film I watched 🤕 2 grand for something that may have the state of the art technology but looks like the Joker from 'Batman Never Returned', what, there wasn't a part 2 to the Nolan Joker batman?!! That makes sense. If I had 2Gs I'd buy Hot Toys, 4 of them, and not the Joker, the character is an overkill now, no pun intended .

None of the mass produced Joker's are perfect. Although personally, the JND appears to be the most realistic to me. I love the paint application on the headsculpt. InArt & HT both looked caked on. And none (not even JND can get the waistcoat correct). Going down the Custom route really is the only way to go for an accurate figure but that would cost more the the JND.

who asked for this :-P what's up with his upper lip on the standard face? with the smiling one, i get Fred Armisen vibes...it's just not there...tailoring? I think JND failed here. I'd choose the new HT over this anytime...it seems JND ingratiates only to the rich deep pocket korean/asian collectors anyway. Maybe something for completists...

I love this! Yes it is pricey.. yes I am getting it and happy. HT has too much texture in the scuplt in my opinion and looks aged. SOME Inart scuplts look incredible stock and all of them would be with a repaint. Not many are brave enough to risk that improvement on such an expensive item. The silicone here definitely makes a difference. The paint being more saturated than the prototype is exactly what I had hoped for. The tailoring is also excellent. The only thing to complain about with these update is literally the price. They did great. Now let's see how well the features works in hand.

Is there really a review on the JND Studios channel? It would be very strange for the manufacturer to review their own material. The only footage I can find is that of the prototype from just over a year ago. All the recent videos on that channel focus on their Squid Games and 1/6 Catwoman pieces. If you have a link to that video, its source, please share it.
