I remember seeing Sears apply seat covers back in the 60’s. They used steam to tighten the wrinkles. I believe vinyl is stretched hot and cooled. If you heat it, it will shrink like mono kite on a model airplane.

I'm surprised that with all your fine tools, you are using dime-store scissors and small ones at that. A good pair of real scissors, large and made like the old style scissors is a must have tool for me. But you're doing this almost two years ago, so there is hope ;) Also, assuming your plan to keep the car (your logo is on it) and you had the seats out, why not use some nice material? Okay, you want to keep it stock looking.

Ja - schönes informatives Video. Aber für die viele Arbeit nicht zufriedenstellend. Ist auch nicht einfach die Bezüge faltenfrei hinzubekommen. Rücksitzbank ist o.k. Ich würde die Vordersitze auch noch mal abziehen, neu aufpolstern, die Polster miteinander verkleben. Das Muster und das helle Beige ist sehr passend. Bleib dran, nicht verzagen. Habe selbst ein 1302 Cabrio. Die gesamte Innenausstattung steht mir noch bevor, incl. Verdeck.
