I’m an ex-Muslim (Algerian) listening to you with a sense of amazement because I think you’ve really understood cultural Islamic ideologie(s) to a certain depth that many Jews and people in the modern “West” cannot comprehend. Islamic oral traditions, especially the Hadiths (sayings of Mohamed) have been the most methodical replacement theory well before the Nazis. It’s not only a culture of hate and violence, but an order from god to kill, pillage and dominate ruthlessly. Islam is a religion of death! And the whole belief system built around it remains deeply uncomfortable, even very threatened, by the existence of Jews who just don’t want to die or at least submit to Islamic rule. I wish strength to Israel. Moreover, I especially hope that more Israelis like you study the Quran, Arabic or recent Islamic history to develop a better awareness of the extermination danger hiding behind the borders for them (or indeed inside). I also want to reassure you that I’m not alone: many Muslims/Arabs living under their own oppressive regimes and destructive religious ideology are secretly and sincerely praying for Israel to win because they believe in the right of Jews to live peacefully in their own ancestral homeland. However, peace seems like a delusion to me. Listening to the likes of you sometimes gives some hope!

I'm not Jewish in any sense, and I talk to a lot of Muslims who live/grew up in the west just bc of where I live. And I have the same exact experience over and over again as this guy. I had a lot bad ideas about Jewish people when I was a Muslim. I left the religion and that’s when I started to realize that there’s something called observable reality that millions and millions of Muslims don’t have. Mosab Hassan Yousef talked about theology as the basis of the many manifestations of Jew-hatred. Islamic texts came much later than the Bible, and as Moriel demonstrates, were used through rewriting and perverting for their own purposes. This fundamental enmity between two opposing and irreconcilable deities, worldviews, revelations, values, ethic systems, and goals basically requires either some reformation (as Mosab also suggests), giving up the murderous elements and lies from their theology as they prove incompatible with civilization, but evidently for many the choice has been to persist on waging wars. The systematic desecration of Jewish Holidays by the Islamists is also deeply revealing of this destructive mindset and essential perversion of the original meaning of things. Days meant for holiness and joy are trampled with wickedness and sorrow, etc. A tree is definitely known by its fruits.

"Jesus" himself is a false prophet. Check the description of a false prophet in Deuteronomy. The Messiah was never prophesied to be a miracle-worker/healer, or even born of a virgin. This is one of your most interesting and informative podcasts ever, Caroline. What I learned was that many Muslims believe that Abraham was Muslim and when the Jews differentiated themselves from their "Islamic roots", they became heretics to the one true religion. Muhammad was inspired by Allah to bring the people back into the original line of the true Abrahamic faith. The Jews, the "heretical Muslims", strayed, so they have to be destroyed or displaced. The border between Sweden and Finland have a river and she is from an island in that river. Amazingly is half of the island Finnish and the other Swedish. When I was a kid and spend holidays at my grandparents I always walked to the stone on that place which the border was marked out 😍😅 The island is Danskinsari and the 2 towns are Haparanda Sweden) and Torneå (Finland). The river is called Torneälv. The word "älv" mening river. I have been to Luleå many many times. A beautiful town. But I am happy here in Gothenburg, it is a little bit warmer and lighter 🌞❤️ Love to visit my relatives in the north of course. And me personally is a believer in Christ and God but I dont practice it a lot, but in my heart I have God with me always and se the Jewish people as my people too, we are sisters and brothers ❤️❤️❤️

Great insight and eye opening for many who might not know how Muslims view their religion in contrast to all other faiths. I am glad that Caroline especially mentioned that the Prophets have written about the return of the Jews to their homeland, as part of Prophecy. That is key to what the Jews would experience after the world wars. Isaiah and Ezekiel, also Jeremiah mentions the Jews both facing the contempt of their enemies as far as their Aliyah is concerned. Zechariah mentions the Jewish return to their land as well. Even in the psalms we see what David says about the enemies of Israel and their desire to eradicate the Jews.

Moriel Bareli has given me such a deeper understanding of the Arab mind. I am a Christian-American, who has an abiding love for Israel and her people. I am also a student of history. There is a Palestinian KZbinr who lives in London and espouses bitter hatred of Jews. It appears that most of his supporters are Americans; and if not Americans, certainly English-speaking Westerners. I have taken it upon myself to counter his outlandish falsities with truth in hopes of protecting his followers from being seduced by lies, and even bringing him to a better state of mind. I am failing miserably. I now see that his followers want to be deceived. But that's a different subject. ' I am often using facts of Western secular history, as well as Biblical and Judaic history to make many of my points. What Moriel has opened my eyes to is that I am operating under the assumption that the KZbinr and I have some basic points of historical agreement in common. But now I see that we don't. His entire understanding of history -- from Adam to Douglas, from pre-history to the present -- is totally different than mine. We have absolutely no historical points of reference. Up to now, I thought he was a propogandist plant, and that he really doesn't believe the things he espouses, such as Hamas and Hezbollah are winning the conflicts. Now, after listening to Moriel, I'm not so sure. He may be filtering actual news events through the psychological conditioning of what Moriel calls, "the language of the Middle East: strength, respect and God" [Allah], such that he actually believes the things he says. Thank you so much, Moriel. I look forward to reading the English edition of your book.

What you and he describe seems to define this radical Islamist (as well as a host of Arab KZbinrs) to a tee in light of what Bareli outlined as the Arab mind. This guy's radical adherence to the idea of power, to the idea that Arabs are meant to religiously reign over Jews with a proudful, arrogant hand, causes him to rationalize away the fact that Israel is relentlessly eliminating Hamas and Hezbollah as fighting organizations.

@@cherylschalk9106100% sure you’ve never read the Talmud either, since it’s a huge collection of writings, which are not considered by Jews to be the inerrant Word of God (unlike the Christian belief about the Bible, and the Muslim belief about the Koran) but are rather a collection of often opposing arguments of rabbis.

As an Australian, watching in horror the mess the middle east is, am pleased you have given Moriel a voice is this manner. I also hope lots of people see what he is saying as being significant. If there is one thing I have learned about the root of the conflict is that it is Islam it's false history. A false history that is being forced not only on Jew but all others who are not Moslem. Moriel is so correct in all he says; if I an Australian, can see it, why do people in Israel and politicians in our western countries do not see the truth as layed out by Moriel. Let's forget historical facts for now and focus on what the Quran( Islamic scriptures) says. Quran 10:93, Quran 7:137 and Quran 5:21 all say the Jews are the rightful owners of the land of Israel. There is no mention of Palestinians in the Quran. They are all Arab migrants who settled in Israel. I challenge any Muslim scholar to explain what those verses mean vis-a-vis the Palestinians.

God Almighty never change his chosen people Israel to Arabs . History can see that in the beginning when Abram and Sarai did not have a child ,Sarai save Hagar gave to sleep to her husband Abram and she bore Ysmael but God did not accept him as heir of Abram . Then Abram was change to Abraham and Sarai to Sarah and the have a son Isaac. God accept him as heir of God. Then that is history Jacob and 12 tribes.
