I used to love watching the Laurence Welk show as a kid.

I remember watching her perform on "The Lawrence Welk Show" with my grandmother, who was a piano teacher. Sometimes we got up from where were sitting and danced together across the living room floor as Jo Ann played. Great memories! PS: My grandmother was a classics trained teacher at a well-known conservatory of music; and she taught using classic methods. Still, we got a wonderful kick from Jo Ann's playing.

While she is a great talent and does a great job of playing, maybe someone can give me a logical reason why they thoughtthey had to put a guitar in the background.? It was just annoying to me. She is so talented she doesn't need it.
