What a great singer. I remember going to the Manchester Apollo in the 80's to watch Madness. The JoBoxers were the backup band. They were unbelievable and these timeless records back them up. I play their records, even today in my local pub in Colne.

Cassius, I only just sold my Jo Boxers records (including the 12 inch single of this song) I bought them as soon as I heard this song back in about 1984. I just can't afford the sort of turntable the music deserves. The whole album was good, Boxer beat was also great. Talented musicians in a golden age of music - ABC, Spandau Ballet, XTC, Thompson Twins. Back when music was fun, quality rose to the top and you didn't have to swear or be a criminal to get air play! Thank your Dad from Australia!

This song makes me think of a female I met in college, when I asked her name she turned her face towards me and said her name, the first 5 seconds of looking at her i was starstruck, she had cherry coloured hair, pink/blue eye shadow I thought she was really pretty and cute, we spoke for about 5 minutes getting to know each other, just like the title of the song I was thinking to myself, “I Just got Lucky”
