Thank god for JO! She makes such a great positive impact in soooo many children's lifes, adults as well but it is their choices that makes them need JO. The kids are refelctions of their parents actions or lack of. Jo has saved alot of kids.

Ah! Now I see why that woman finally decided to come clean. She couldn't be bothered looking after her kids but when it came down to losing her house, NOW she's completely and thoroughly interested in the best care for her children. Frankly, I think making your children stop school to be looking after your other children should be criminalized! She doesn't give a toss! I have suffered from depression my entire life. I never even told my children until they were adults. It wasn't relevant. I had children to bring up and you just have to do it. If your children don't become the most important thing in your life, they've had it.

If you’re able to control your depression and able to move on with life then it’s not severe nor medical issue.

@@cherchuhaikieu4328 false. I had severe medically diagnosed depression that I was in therapy for at the same time as being able to "shut down" how I felt to take care of my younger brothers. In my case it is a trauma redponse. You shut down everything except what you have to do to get through the day, and its a typical sign of childhood ptsd. It not common, but it is possible.

Ami, what part of my comment is false? Again if you are able to control your depression on your own then it is not a severed medical issue.

I agree with Ami. I’ve had depression for I guess 7/8 years and sometimes i almost feel normal but it’s because of meditation. You aren’t in someone else’s body and don’t know how they feel. It’s horrible to only feel somewhat normal because you have medicine controlling it.

Jake’s mom seems to be a very good mom. The dad, however is like a sloth. Jake is a Tasmanian devil, but he’s very cute! The girls are so precious! Those cheeks!🤗

I remember stepping out of line and my dad whooped my behind. I love that man and it literally broke my heart to see the tears in his eyes after tanning my hide. I have great respect for him, still do. But man did I deserve it! You know what I did? Playing with matches and teaching my little brother to start fires. Lol

"Your sensationalizing, this is normal and natural." Yeah but Jo, teens joining gangs and getting in trouble with the police is "normal and natural." Its far from rare, happens every day. And what do you think those teens were like as little kids? Exactly like this boy.

The second woman clearly feels guilty that she suffered depression for the boys younger years, and she is trying to make up for it by not being harsh. But a mom has to wear all the hats, including the one of the bad guy at times. Discipline is for the child's best interest. Because look at the result when they have none- they literally carry it into society and are not productive members. It holds them back as much as it does for her.

Shawn is asleep behind the wheel!! He's like a wet noodle. Jake thinks his dad's a joke! Roles have definitely been reversed here...dad normally steps in to back up mom!
