My first boss was a Philippino lady and I imagine his mom talked like her and had her same mannerisms. She had a karaoke room at her house and she would make her kids sing. She would sing Lady in Red and give an Oscar worthy performance. Her name was Belen. Such good times!!!

I'm from the UK and I find this guy incredibly funny. Although I have never experienced the culture of the Philippines I can still relate to a lot of his jokes as well. When I won a competition and was about to perform in front of the president for a charity event she took me out of the school performance. Didn't allow me to leave the house on the day of performance. Barred me from leaving the house. Can only imagine the courage I have to face the next day when school reopen. Everyone asked me from teachers to all different grade of school coming up to asked me what happened? 😞 The worst part of it all. My performance part was feature in the school newspaper, they wanted to feature me . Too my horror to this day when I think of the newspaper to see someone else...😞
