The way they talk about this woman is highly disrespectful, insensitive, and just plain mean. It’s disappointing that Bravo would even give this airtime, and disappointed to see Colin engaging in this as well

My most favorite reality show ever! Love captain Sandy, love Captain Lee,love ALL CREW members from season 1 to the present & looking forward to next season in each Below Deck! I rewatch when my tumors disease flares up,helps keep me distracted from severe pain& cabin fever from being terminally ill homebound and hospital, I know Captain Sandy & another member of season 3 , uhg🤷🏼‍♀️ name stuck & he crush on Rocky Emile?anyway I've met most of ya'll through Instagram but haven't been too active online,septic shock and phenomena 3 times in last 3 months in ICU, home health care is setting up more care now& I'm still fighting back! Spitfire and Spirit strong 💪☝️❤✌just wanted to say Thank you for helping me distract myself while emotional and physical pain hits me& missing my 3 adult kids is hard,they are scattered around as well as most of my family, I use to be a flight-attendant& loved it! Next to being a mom& choreographer all star cheer competitive teams,high school and military kids when I lived in Germany, I've been around the world and miss it,but trying to stay positive and spirit strong, I trust heavenly Father and his will for me in the name of Jesus our saviour and the gifts of the holy spirit with discernment.. it isn't easy! But my heart is emotional for all hearts to feel that miraculous peace in life no matter what one goes through * I don't have fancy things but my heart cares deeply for everyone & always praying y'all enjoy life,keep your crew as family,I loved my flight attendant family, some captains & F/Os were very caring,and just to have ty hat lifelong friends like family is a great feeling! God bless all of y'all! & thank you! Your favorite TOP FAN!😁😘😎😉❤❤❤☝️✌💪☝️❤😘😘

Sandy Yawn..."If it were my superior, and I was out drinking, and they acted like that I don't think I would have any respect for my superior, how could I? When they act like that?..." then proceeds to insult a subordinate and call into question his manhood by saying "maybe it's small?" Way to lead by example.

Yeah workers seem to always criticize their supervisors. As a supervisor you can't let it bother you. I learned as the years went by at first I would try to be friendly that was a disaster. I even at first would go out partying with some of the people under me and at work they thought it was okay to slack so no I would not be friends with the people under me. Sand even said it's not a good idea when you're a boss to go out and party that hard with them because they lose respect for you

Hannah, you’ll find lots of people who are passionate about their career and love going to work every day. You’ll probably find a large percentage among teachers, because the pay really sucks. And yes I am a retired teacher. Working with those kids every day kept me going to work every day.
@xmarine73

Hannah, isn't wrong. I've been in the same industry for 20+ years... I would say I've enjoyed about half of those years, looking forward to work each day. Many of those were because I was in charge and able to run things the way I wanted and my teams enjoyed my leadership style, making everything enjoyable. Other years because whoever I reported to was great or the project was interesting. Likewise, the other half was some version of miserable. Bad boss... Good paycheck = masochistly willing and responsible. Other times the environment was just dreary and lifeless. But one person's dream job is another person's hell. One person's fat paycheck makes it all worth it and for another person you couldn't pay them enough to do "thaaaat" job. Hannah, you're a delight! Keep up the good work!

When you look at teacher pay vs required hours (and I’m not talking about extra optional hours like instead of checking hw or exams during your “free period” chatting away and then taking it home- just like if someone wastes time at work and sticks to a schedule they take work home or decorating, etc)- teachers are paid well.. in the states ~6 weeks is typical for vacation... teachers get 3 or more months in the summer (unless you’re in a edu focused state- then maybe 2.5)- before Memorial Day to after Labor Day - minus a couple days of setting up/in service, 5 weeks or so of winter break, 1 week thanksgiving, 1 week spring break (in addition to fed holidays, which most ppl don’t get off- for example MLK, Presidents’ Day, etc- other jobs only get off July 4, Christmas Day, and New Years).... so over 5 months in vacation... also teachers are there maybe from 7:50am-3:10pm... vs at a normal job you would be there from 7:50am- 4pm... so also add in about an hour per days worked as being vacation time (as someone in the “real world” would have to take it off as vacation time)- with 180 school day average that’s another 22 days with a bit of a remainder- or even if you say they work 180 days (22 day overage in hours will more than take care of in service days and 2 conference days a year and any extra time- I would even say schools that have 1 day a week as early release an hour early-which adds in 4.5 extra days of vacation to an average worker would be more than half of the inservice/conferences)... so when you work it out teachers are paid well for required hours.. plus if you live in a state with all the seasons you get snow days or even too cold days where it’s too cold to start the buses - and usually there’s a week or 2 built in to the school year to accommodate that so it’s not made up until the reserve days are used up and the state requires x days (which can either be made up by adding 20 minutes in per day left after winter or doing a few half days) ... also if bad weather is coming, you get out early and a half day of school is considered a day (or if it’s hot and the school doesn’t have AC, there’s early release).. also compared to other countries (including some European ones) teachers are paid substantially more in the USA and in some European countries teachers are LEGALLY BAN FROM PROTESTING anything about education or their jobs (otherwise their entire school gets punished! One country I lived in it is LAW that if even ONE teacher from a school protests, ALL teachers and school staff are punished via their MANDATORY healthcare taken away but still having 15% taken out of their paycheck... then they have to go spend about 5 hours at a government office to get reinstated and in the meantime pay all medical expenses out of pocket!)... what I don’t agree with is teachers providing school supplies.. but when a school prioritizes smart boards and new computers over supplies, and kids are allowed to attend without bringing required supplies, I guess that’s what happens... but if you live in a wealthy district usually some parents get together and buy a supply basket and give the teacher a target gift card for that stuff.... funny how teachers can’t logic out their salaries- if you work about 65-70% of the time the average worker works, what percentage of 100% of an average salary is “fair”? 100% 🤣 🤣🤣🤣 image a child in math class answering a question like that... so let’s say the average salary for someone with a 4 year degree working at 100% time is $50,000, mr. smith works 70% of the time (being very generous with the 70 here). How much should mr. smith get paid? Teacher IRL: $50,000! Student on a test: $50k (teacher on test: WRONG!).. correct answer 70%x$50k= $35k... which is about the average teaching salary! 😲 also of course we’ve been in a free fall of salaries decreasing and vacation time being cut for non-teachers/gov workers, so really this would be even lower 🙄
