Dirk Bach, the actor who played the priest who married Olli and Christian, died on October 1st, 2012. R.I.P. Dirk. You'll be missed. ♥

Schön ist es, dass Thore ehrlich sagt, dass am Anfang ein bisschen Angst hatte er, diese Rolle zu spielen, aber die Rolle hat ihn zum Besser verändert. Ich finde das ist mehr impressiv zu sagen als ob hätte er keine Sorgen dazu. Er hat was wichtig gelernt: dass seine Angst unnötig war, und für alle Leut ist das eine gute Lehre die jeder lernen soll. Es bringt nichts Neues, wenn man sagt, "Niemals hatte ich Angst ein Schwuler zu spielen," aber wenn man sagt "Ja, um ehrlich zu sein, ich hatte Angst, aber ich habe gelernt, es gab kein Grund dafür," das zeigt man dass ein starkerer Mensch werden kann. Und noch mehr, wann er seine Angst überkommen hat, sind mehrehre gute Sachen ihm angekommen. Er findet sich eine Freundin die er endlich heiratet, einen neuen Freund macht er mit Jo, er findet Beruf das ihn freut, er wird berühmt und kriegt sich viele Fans, die ihn aus der ganze Welt einladen. Das alles ist ihm angekommen, nach er seine Angst angegriffen hatte und machte was daraus. Das ist doch heroisch, ein echter Mensch. Dass er seine Angst übertreten kann, können so viele Anderen davon auch lernen.

Loved this. And discovering that Thore had issues at first playing Christian becoming gay/bi is a little surprising but then again not. I applaud him for his honest and not avoid the question or lie. I see nothing wrong in him feeling that way. As he said he's from the countryside where he wasn't around it so it would be different for him. Also if he was to be playing Christian as a killer, no one would be asking him if he actually was however it always comes up goes he plays a gay/bi character.

The 'Kulturkirche' in Cologne is a regular protestant church. But the man in charge is very modern and open-minded, so a lot of cultural events take place in there. It is everything from literary events to comedy shows and rock concerts. I have been to some concerts there and the atmosphere is incredible. It definitely was the perfect setting for this most amazing wedding.

I love the fact that even though he was/is not in his comfort zone having to be intimate with another man he still decides to do it. This reminds me of Guy Burnet who played Craig Dean (HO). He also got slated for saying pretty much the same thing that Thore says about playing a straight character thats suddenly is into a man. And James Sutton (JP) justs like Jo is fine with it although James isn't gay in RL. I just love the actors for helping create this chatacters and SL's. Well done to all..

@archraskal What should I say? I met Jo in December in Munich for a few Minutes and he was just beautiful and incredibly nice and friendly! But I didn't speak a word to him because I was just stunned! So I was looking forward to this weekend, because I'm living in Vienna and it's not so easy to get time and money to just get there. And Now I met Thore and Jo for three days in a row. Jo is just amazing. I hugged him and I'm just happy now because I love him. And Thore is just equally great.

IMO, apart from the routine smiles, he was pretty lost in several of the segments. And after 2 years, he could express something better than the usual lines.
