I love this. I hate that Alex left Jo for Izzie, after telling her over and over again that he would never leave her. Now she's all alone with no family. Her backstory breaks my heart. I really don't like what they did with her during the last couple of episodes of s16. They could at least let her show some emotion regarding Alex leaving her. I love how Jo went from feeling worthless and not belonging to this amazing beautiful and capable woman. I think that part of why she's so relateble and her story sticks out to a lot of people. Also I think that's part of the reason her and Alex where so great together they both went through a lot and their character development was beyond brilliant!
