Greg, You should check out Evie Sands and her 1967 song titled " Angel Of The Morning" as it's pretty good. She was born on July 18, 1946 so she was only about 20 or 21 when she recorded this song. She has a beautiful singing voice and she was always very underrated mostly because her music did not receive alot of exposure due to her record company going bust shortly after she came on the music scene in the '60's which if it were not for that she may have became more popular and she is still alive today.

I was on a radio show when I was 18. In London. The 4 participants got to choose a song. I chose this. I agree with you about music; I never stopped. It would be like not breathing. I raised my daughter on the best. You are right, there is good music out there but you have to go through a lot of dross to find it. Do love this song.

i used to listen to her album a lot with my first set of headphones which provides that extra perception . I think i may have gone to cassettes shortly after this, but the vinyl was beautiful.

Cassettes weren't bad, they gave pretty good sound.

@@deepcutsreactions7774 Yes, Cassette tapes were not too bad and they sounded good but when they came out with compact discs the sound was much better with more clarity high definition sound and at least you did not have to rewind and fast forward a cassette tape and cassette tapes were known to wear out like the old 8-Track tapes that were still popular in the '70's and early '80's. I got tired of 8-Tracks sometimes getting jammed in the 8-Track player or even cassette tapes sometimes did the same thing so conventional LP albums or 45 Rpm records were actually better in some ways and some albums had great artwork and pictures on the album cover and the record sleeve inside. 8-Track and Cassette tapes were mostly best for in the car stereo but even those are obsolete now since we have CD players in cars now.

Glad I stumbled across your channel - just nice to hear someone enjoy music - some new things to me, some familiar things - never trust a man that doesn't have opinions on music ;) BUT - Sir - you've got good taste! I notice two things missing. No Tom Waits? "Hold on" -no Townes Van Zandt? ...and I'll dance naked on Dylan's coffee table in nothing but my cowboy boots... proclaiming him the greatest songwriter your country has known ;) I butchered the quote - apologies. Great channel, I look forwards to hearing what comes out - keep enjoying, keeps us alive. Such a voice, I picked up the self-titled album cheap on vinyl - what a treat. Down to Zero as well is so good. It's the bass voice on the song that kinda throws me a bit - it's SOO deep and rich, not quite out of place, but very noticable.
