I weep for the people we were then...so hopeful...fighting the same battles we are fighting again today. Thank you each and every one of you who loves truth, beauty and goodness. Thank God for the superb examples of these brilliant, compassionate ... and yes, authentic, human beings.

Very well said Diane. Hope shall always be with us. In our lives hope dims like an ember, but the light shall never be darkened. Truth and kindness like a morning sunrise will always turn each of us toward the light.

I lived in NYC from 1967-84; all the "good" years! Broke, learning, having a blast just to be a part of it all! So much energy! So much kindness and grace. Today, we are still confronted what took hold back then. The 70's were horrible there - like someone threw a wet blanket over my beautiful City - then it spread to the entire country. The Underground truly went underground. I could feel it. Have been feeling it for past 50 years. I thank God I am blessed to be here to see this all unravel. We deserve to see and be a part of the healing, the recovery, the future. After all, isn't that why we chose to be in the here and now. What an amazing time to be alive!!!!! Blessings!! xoxo

In 2015 i was in the USA for half a year as an anesthetist in the Tampa General Hospital...i met a girl there who was admitted as an emergency, we became very close friends...i remember a hot sultry summer night on her balcony in the 9th floor in the Skypoint building...we sat there until sunrise and heard this song over and over again...i will never forget that night...when i was back in Germany i found out that she died in August 2016 at the age of 27...i still can´t understand why do things like this happen?...we weren´t lovers, i was never in love with her...we were friends who would have done anything for each other...i will never forget this girl...RIP Ashley...i miss you...

These things sadly happen. I remember in 2010 going on a Red Sea dive trip with my partner at the time and finding out that a great Israeli lady who had been a serious drinking buddy of mine in the 90s had died in her early 40s. RIP Tara.

Beautiful 🥰 about your feelings. And I do understand you. Not lovers just friends that it could do anything for each other. That’s truly friendship love ❤️ I had felt the same for a very dear friend many years ago. I lost him as well. We was talking about anything, we have slept in the same bed, he was the old brother that I never had. Today I am 66 years old and my son is battling cancer since last 11 years . I have been asking God why beautiful people die before them time ( being old I mean). I think God, need beautiful souls because our world is going crazy.😢 Please ; love, give love but above everything be happy. When you are happy; you can feel and see everything that surrounds you. Then you can share what you feel. ✨God bless your life with health and happiness.✨

This is great music/great song, I am a classical music junk, only love Bach Beethoven Rameau Mozart Schubert Rachmaninoff Brahms etc and I only loved it since I was a little boy, now I am 57 years old. And sometimes I put on Paul Simon and Joan Baez Bob Dylan and I love it also like a modern song from Bach or Schubert. Let the music comfort your soul. Greetings from the Netherlands

Laugh when i hear the comments about the imperfections of this piece as it is. It truly is beautiful just for that reason. I hear the meaning, the joy and the pain in this version except with more subtlety than the original. I hear the "voices" of each artist, the divergence of all that is human. Music is not about perfection, or the original; it is communication. Listen again maybe you will actually begin to hear again.
