Joan showed her homophobia and used the state of being homosexual as something derogatory. Even though she said that being gay is "Nothing to be ashamed of." She used the term "Gay" as something negative and devaluing. Joan has many "Homosexual fans". I hope that this revelation of her true self cost her. She really owes "Gay Men" an apology. I would not say that she is a "Bitch" as much as I would say that she is not always as bright as she comes across. I thought that Liam was hard on her but not in a mean spirited way. She should publicly clarify or apologize for using the state of being "Gay" as less than. She is 91. It is not too late!

I've never seen a worse interviewer. He almost caused me physical pain just watching his tight-lipped contortions, his clipped phrasing and that ridiculous stumbling on a simple question about marriages. Collins interjected, "Spit it out!" A pro interviewer comes prepared with questions and rattles them off one after another.

Oh dear, Mr Bartlett was desperate to upset Joan, to make her act like Alexis. It was a very obvious attempt to upset her, and it was a rather stupid interview. Joan is a living legend, not because of her looks, but her servival in a very difficult bussiness. Mr Bartlett showed , yet again, how shocking he is as an interviewer. He was quite painful to watch. If it had really been Alexis sitting there, im sure he would have received a well deserved slap!

He provoked that reaction in her. Didn't he hear what she said? She doesn't suffer fools lightly, that was a series of foolish questions and Joan reacted as anyone would have. The reason she asked him if he was gay was to show how uncomfortable it is to have someone infringe on your personal life, she was playing him at his own game. Also she was big enough to make light of the situation towards the end, Good for Joan!

She's a little touchy but Liam Bartlett is lame. Joan Collins deserves a lot of respect for carving out a career over many, many years-I think she started out in 1950- and constantly recalibrating - the direct opposite of being "old fashioned." She went from UK, to Hollywood studio system, to 1960s episodic series TV appearances, to taking a backseat to Anthony Newley while she raised their daughter, to making genre movies in the early to mid 70s (raunchy flicks and B horror movies) then she lobbied hard for the role of Alexis Carrington (which was offered to Sophia Loren and many others). She rode the wave of the show's enormous success and made as much money as possible doing TV movies and merchandising because she knew it would not last. Since then, she has managed to continue working in television and on stage and I have no doubt that it takes an enormous amount of effort on her part. As far as this interview, it's all silly and really shows so much in the wrong order. The color film they keep showing clips of with Paul Newman was made well before the relationship with Beatty. That relationship with Beatty, meanwhile, nearly did her in. I have never read any of her books but I have read several about Beatty and the stories of the emotional abuse he inflicted on her and her needing to be taken to New Jersey for a back alley abortion (early 1960s) because he would not stand by her are devastating.

Dame Joan Collins is one of a kind. Gorgeous, classy, elegant, intelligent, well composed with a great sense of humor. I'm not happy the way the interviewer treated her and his questions aren't interesting and for low level people. Even if you don't like Star Trek or Science Fiction- it is a great episode. I don't have Netflix, but I think Netflix has several of the Star TRek Series including the Original Star TRek Series. I haven't had Netflix for some time. so I am not sure about this. Several Cable Channels carry Star Trek Reruns. I know that the Cable Chanel- Heros' and Icons carry Reruns of the Various Star TRek Series including the Original Series. YOu can also catch clips of City on The Edge of Forever on KZbin.
