This song is fabulous and my thoughts went to Joan when I heard it so here's a little tribute to Joan Crawford's early career, c. late 1920s to mid 1930s, mostly because of the song but also because this period of her career, in my opinion, often take a back seat to the later years and since it is a personal favourite I thought it fitted quite nicely.
