I lived for 20 years, from age 21 to 42, not understanding that brokenness was a category for Christians - that you could be a Christian and be broken. The gospel of forgiveness I had been given just had so many things under one category. Sin. Everything is either sin or not sin. The one answer is forgiveness. It keeps you in an endless loop.

Oh dear. I'm an atheist, and this is word salad. I've read the Bible. There is no "indirection" in the Bible. Have you listened to lectures?
