This is the most elegant turban of any I have seen on You Tube. And it completely protects the head and hair from the snow or wind! A high class look!

I want to try those too. There are days when I want to give my hair a rest from washing, so after waking up with bed head hair on my days off I want pretty ways to cover my hair. I am currently knitting my first style and I love it, a warmer style since it is still January and it actually feels really nice and toasty on a cold winter morning to put a nice warm one on and as an added bonus I am covering my bed head hair. Win win. I will note down this link, great to just learn the pattern and the secret is in the sewing style. I have PTSD and knitting different patterns and styles is actually a great way to train my brain too. When I understand more difficult patterns it is almost like brain training. But I have always loved knitting and making beautiful garments.

This is my favourite stitch!! I love the effect it creates. I think it's called the 'cartridge rib stitch'. I never make hats, but I'm tempted to make this. 👏

Work on Slip Stitch Ribbing for 40 inches: sl1f=with yarn in front, pass 1 stitch purlwise Repeat from * to * Row 1.- knit 3, *sl1f, knit 3*. Row 2.- knit 1, *sl1f, knit 3* end with sl1f, knit1. Bind off in pattern.
