Reading Job presently and listened to your teaching tonight on these chapters (thank you)… you said at beginning that Job never curses God, but it sounds like he is cursing him through many of these verses?…his vents are so relatable… and I am in awe that I find myself here in my scripture reading… many lessons here… 51:20 🙏May 30, 2024. Thank you for your teachings!!

Pastor- thank you for your lessons, and for having them available on KZbin. I use some of your comments with my life group. You make it easy to understand what is happening and how it relates to us as Christ followers and how we learn from lessons in the Bible. These studies in Job have also helped me personally the last few days! Many thanks and stay strong in the lord.

@@PastorPaulLeBoutillier in the chapters on Elihu you mentioned he is the defender of God and that God doesn't need to be defended.. at the end God did ask for the other 3 friends to offer burnt offerings for Him since they did not speak accurately about God. He did not mention anything to correct Elihu.
@samuelross98843 жыл бұрын
@@zzflorida7144 It's interesting, but no one refers or responds to Elihu. Not God, not Job, nor his friends.

Very interesting exposition. As a Christian I always had a great interest in the book of Job after hearing so many explanations that never confer with my spirit, honestly I think your teachings thus far is reaching my spirit. All the way from the Caribbean in the West Indies. I am doing the psalms study in the book of Ruth and your prayer meetings, love your ministry. blessings

Job suffers though He doesn't deserve it. This foreshadows the innocent, yet stricken and suffering Messiah as foretold in the prophecy Isaiah 52&53 - Jesus/Yeshua. Job also wishes there was an intercessor and cries out for one (as he made the blood sacrifices for his own children -in chapter 1- as the paternal 'priest' of the family prior to the Levites inception) Jesus is the blood atonement for us and our one and only Mediator. The Holy Spirit also speaks for us, and this is not a contradiction as YHWH is one. Job is part of the puzzle piece pictures of the Messiah to come, like David, Joseph, Joshua, Moses etc.

I wanted somebody who could explain to me the spiritual meaning of the book of Job. Thank you, You ably explained and answered my questions. God bless you, and anoint you abundantly.
@judgeright22922 ай бұрын
The book of Job simply demonstrate a journey of a sold out Christian. Eventually when our work follows us and God bless us abundantly and we walk hand in hand with God unapologetically, our integrity can be tested. Whiles we go through such loses like job so we think, our emotions begins to play out and demand some sort of entitlement and become upset and bitter with God cos we think that we are perfect and that all the blessings from God we have earned it. The book of Job explains that no matter how righteous we think we are, we ain't and that God remains supreme. Often of the time the test is to reveal our true colours to ourselves when things don't go our way.

What happens when you lose your child and you think that God will never allow such a thing and you trust God for some time that God will return them back...but when reality hits that they will never come back that's the toughest part of this experience...God will never return them they are gone forever...

Isn’t testimonies the same as having a experience? I have many testimonies based on the grace of God/Jesus which was shown through the blood on the cross but I also have experiences of suffering that may help others like me. I ask for the spirit of Discernment to know what to say but I’m just a little confused, thanks 😍

Thank you so much Pastor. I find it hard to read and understand the book of Job. You simplified it. I have a question concerning God meeting people at different locations… I agree that God meets people based on their faith but also believe locations play a significant role too.. for example: the place where Jacob dreams - Bethel (Luz). Isn’t it?
