I’m from Chennai, India. I’m regularly listening to Pastor’s Expository teaching. This particular one is an amazing explanation of a very mysterious truth. I’m going to preach in a memorial meeting of a 7 year old boy, whom the parents & our church lost after spending 30 plus lakhs of Indian Rupees & giving the best treatment in CMC Vellore (kidney failure etc). I’m enlightened much through this teaching. I myself lost my wife to cancer when she was 33 & my son was 18 months old. God has been faithful to us all these 17 years since then. May the Lord use your teaching ministry to enlighten the ignorant and to redirect the confused.

Whenever I feel sorry for myself? I read the book of Job! He never promised me a perfect life. But he did keep his promise that I would never be alone and that I would never walk alone. #My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness

Thank you for this. I'm just coming back from stage 3 cancer and now my mom has cancer and is on hospice. She suffers so much and has 10 plus years with health. She is so strong in believing in God's healing and just keeps breaking more. I just stay silent and cry and breathe in Jesus cause I don't know what else to do and I don't wanna be mad at God again. I want peace so so badly. Please pray for Linda and Paul (my dad)

Wowwww. That is a good thing to remember 59:00. The comfort doesn't come from what you say, it comes from you being there. I've marveled before at Job's friends sitting with him in silence for 7 DAYS and nights. That is hard to get my head around. Even to sit there for an hour I'd be like, ok i need to go start getting my stuff done, ill check on you tonight and bring you supper. Its incredible to think of

This pastor is awesome and i love the way God uses him to explain in detail scripture and ware we can relate... One example was when he was preaching the exodus specifically the passover.. And in passover before they left egypt God told them to sacrifice the most perfect unblemished lamb. They were to sacrifice the lamb and use the blood to cover the doorsteps to each house hold. They were to roast and eat the lamb and break no bones when doing so... Then he explained how the jews couldnt see how God was basically preparing the jewish community because just like that perfect lamb Jesus was perfect without blemish and when he was sacrificed we too accept that precious blood to to cleanse and protect us just like jews used the blood of the lamb to cover their doorstep so that the ghost of death would passover them... Just like the lambs bones were not broken Jesus Christ on that crosss not one bone broken.. Finally what does john the baptist say when he first lay eyes on Jesus he says the lamb of God is here within us! This gives me goosebumps everytime but the pastor explained the story way better than i just did. I love it thank you God Jesus Christ for your messages...

I love the Job Perspective. Now when I face things I can’t understand, aren’t fair, doesn’t make any sense, not in line with what I believe God’s will and plan for my life...I take the Job Perspective. God I don’t understand this..it’s not fair but I choose to believe you are proud of me...help me walk in this situation in a way that honours and glorifies you...in the peace of knowing I am in your dominion and provident will right now

26:00 is the type of analogy that brings Job's story into today. I am so incredibly guilty of this. (Letting your hair down with family) I've actually been praying about this. I do not want to live my life as a Christian UNTIL I'm at a family get together. It's not my side, but my husband's side. A lot of them are not mindful of God whatsoever in the subjects that get brought up. Mostly I cringe at perverted jokes and you're made to feel as a prude if you don't laugh or that you don't have a sense of humor. I usually try to stay light hearted without laughing. Like I will raise my brows and close my eyes shaking my head or something. It's a difficult situation. Truly. I've read this book a lot of times so I'm interested to read it with pastor Paul

We all need God to perfect us in our understanding of love. This had been tugging at my heart. Thank you, Lord for answering my prayer. The fear of God I know of as my reverence for Him and my daily effort to includes him in every decision I do are in constant battle with my fear of not bearing harvests. And also the fear of loosing the Holy Ghost because of my blasphemous self. I know it’s the attack of the enemies because his words is wicked and his thoughts aims to remove us from God. We need to seek God’s forgiveness and we need his work in our lives now more than ever because we are truly living in the end times.

Our love to God will be/is tested too. The point is Job 1,22 Will we blame God? " In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly." That's it. It's a trap of the devil to seperate us from our father and to mustrust him. Same old story as in the garden of Eden. Don't fall for it!

@CalvaryChapelOntario11 ай бұрын
CC is embedded on all of our videos. You should be able to enable it on your end.
@misha917911 ай бұрын
Thank you for the quick response. The CC is not available on this video so I am unable to enable it on my end. All of the videos in the Job series CC gives a “not available dialogue box” when attempting to enable it.
@CalvaryChapelOntario11 ай бұрын
Thank you for waiting and bringing this to our attention. KZbin automatically generates our subtitles, but they are not always generated quickly, and sometimes they are not automatically published. We occasionally have to manually publish the subtitles when they become available, and we're not notified by KZbin when they do become available for any given video. We greatly appreciate you and anyone else who point these things out for us. After checking it out, it appears that KZbin managed to generate subtitles for 3 out of 4 of the Job studies. We just now manually published what was available, but we may have to wait a bit longer for the subtitles on "Job 3-14 Job and his Friend Talk" to become available. We do have volunteers who are working to manually transcribe all of Pastor Paul's teachings, but that will take some time. Thank you again for your patience and for bringing this to our attention.

This was pretty good. I liked when he covered the phrases that we use today and that they came from the book of Job. One thing though...Satan was not in heaven speaking to God. Satan does not have to go to heaven to be in God's presence, unworthy as he is. Remember, Adam walked with God in the cool of the day. Adam was in God's presence. He was not in heaven. After Adam's disobedience and Adam and Eve were hiding, God searched for them. It's not as though He didn't know they were hiding. Similar thing when God asked Satan where he has been. He knows he was roaming the earth. Anyyway, Satan, was talking to God, from earth, he was not in heaven. Blessings!

God told Satan not to take Job's life but the lives of all his children, servants and animals were taken. This is hard to not have feelings over. I also pray I'll have wisdom and peace one day about feeling like it's one thing for Satan to attack me bc of who he is, but to know God gave the okay for it to haplens hurts more because it feels like a deep betrayal of my faith and trust.

Fear of God is like coming into a path of a hungry bear, hoping you don't have a candy bar. It's a deep respect and sense of shame in sin. Sin being a candy bar, the bear is beautiful and majestic in the forest but it can tear you apart.

Are you a good person? Well God gave us the ten commandments as the standard of righteousness. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever stolen anything even if the value was small? Have you ever looked at anyone with lust (God considers that to be adultery in the heart). If you’ve done these things God sees you as a liar, a thief, and an adulterer at heart. God is perfectly Just, Good, and Holy. His justice means hell for those who are guilty. A lot of people think they are “good people” but good deeds can never make you right with God. Would a good judge let a murderer go because they did good things? Of course not, that judge would be corrupt. And since God is good, He must punish all evil. But God made a way for us terrible sinners to be reconciled to Him and save us from His wrath. He became human in the person of Jesus Christ. He died on the cross taking our punishment on Himself, dying, and rising from the dead. He paid the debt we owed because of our sin! God commands everyone to repent and trust in Jesus alone for salvation. Have a wonderful day!
