One thing you missed, all job portals, LinkedIn, Seek, Bayt, SAP, or companies' portals are AIoperated, it will compare your application to the job description and the best-matched application will be prioritized by the system for hiring managers. few things I would like to add, 1. Prepare each application according to the job description, rephrase the job description, or add keywords to JD and cover letter. 2. Make a folder for each job application and save your CV and pdf copy of the job description, for tracking, it will benefit you, when receive an interview call. 3. Use tools, like Grammarly, Chat GPT, or MS Editor to check mistakes and grammar in your CV.

I have been living in UAE for the last 12 years and I would just like to add to this video: 1) if you are going alone and you lived a middle class/upper middle class life in Pakistan. Do not accept any job below minimum MINIMUM 8000aed. Don’t bother. You wont survive. Electricity bill alone is 700-1000aed. 2) If you do find a respectable job, please do not get lost in the glamour of this country. This is not your country. They will ask you to leave the moment you are fired or loose your job. Save! Dont buy useless shit like brand new cars, clothes from luxury brands, or 80inch TVs. Wapas Pakistan hi ana hai aik din, you dont want to come back with no money and no safety net! Everything else Junaib Bhai has said is 100% true. Be careful. Come here with realistic expectations.

Hamza Khan bro even if you are willing to live with 4-10 people with food you will very likely not like or cant eat. Transport (bus & metro), sending money back, electricity & water, wifi, mobile bill, and going out can easily cost you 2000-3000. You would save very little and anything you do save will not be worth it. You wont have anything for retirement or any big emergency. Iske baad bhi if you think you can manage by reducing your expenses and budgeting. Please do not get into debt when you come here. DO NOT USE ANY CREDIT CARDS OR APPLY FOR PERSONAL LOANS. Its very easy to get loans here even on low incomes. How do you think people here buy Mercedes and BMWs? Its all loaned and will be a nightmare for you to get rid off when the time comes.

One more thing i want to add, which i observed while staying in Dubai. Here Job season usually starts in March. Because, the end months of the years, companies are usually planning their budgets for next year. Until December their projects and budgets are planned and then they start posting jobs. January and February are months of promotions and increments. So, March onward is the ideal time to visit for job hunt.

Either you have a employer who is willing to sponsor your Visa which is very unlikely because the process of H1B Takes approximately a year for complete Initial process and no employer will want to hire you in a year advance . The other way is to get in to US universities but that's a costly way .

See how professional they are, what's their reach in the market, etc. 4. Brush up your communication skills and appear more confident. 5. Never think Arabs are illiterate or uneducated. Nowaydays, almost all of em are 15x times more educated and disciplined than all of us. 6. You're absolutely right about 'preaching people'. Several years ago, I used to study in middle east (father used to work) and 2 of our teachers were let go just after 2 years of their employment because they were doing preaching (tableegh) in the evening. Everyone who had lived, or is living, in middle east will agree that its strictly against the law without permission from concerned authorities. Their salaries were around AED15k +perks and just because of our desi tendency of 'know it all', they lost their job. And here is the best part, they were british pakistani. The authorities couldn't care less of their british nationality and they were asked to leave the country within a month. My advise, go to the mosque and come straight back home. Some people even got in trouble just for listening to these unauthorized sessions. About socializing, AVOID your own people. We pakistanis are somewhat of a jealous nation, we cant see others succeed. Pakistanis will never guide you to the right path/decision. They just want you out of there. Mostly, they'll give false information. My personal experience, socialize with locals and from other continents, southeast asians are the best (malaysians, indonesians, philippines). This will also significantly improve your english communication skill rather than always speaking urdu/hindi. Even in first world countries; whenever we meet pakistanis in UK, US, CA, Aus, etc.. they will always discuss how to avoid tax rather than professional growth. Best is to stay away. If you cant live without your own kind, dont leave the country in the first place. Period.

Well said Ganji Swag, I would like to add up few things. Middle East especially United Arab Emirates is best place to come for short period of time 2-4 years, live work save for better life and try Immigration to Canada / Europe / Aus / etc, because middle east is good enough until you have job and money once your job is gone u need to go back home country. Important points before coming to UAE 1. Get your Degree attested (University, HEC and UAE Embassy/ Consulate) this will help u alot, if your Skilled Professional and u dont have ur attested degree your company will not give u executive visa. Few benefits of executive visa (easily you can sponsor your family visa , if u need to apply for Driving license u dont need NOC from your company or lets say your applying visit visa for US / Canada or any other country you dont need NOC from your company, If your traveling to any other Gulf Country from UAE you get on arrival Visa. 2. Let suppose your Sales/ I.T / Marketing / HR / Accounts Professional and you get 70k plus in Pakistan Don’t accept Job less then 5500 AED, Inflation rate is getting higher every year Junaid bhai left UAE in 2017, before there was no TAX nowadays there is VAT on everything plus living cost is way higher then 2017. Living Costs 1. Accommodation Keep things in mind if you rent a Bed Space thats just only one small single bed in a room shared by minimum 2 maximum 10/20 Ppl which cost around (700 to 1500) depending on area and room capacity. 2. Transportation Metro and Bus (150-300) depends on routes 2. Food If you can cook your own food thats gonna be (300-500) per month if you eat outside 3 times a day this will be more then 800 a month. Minimum 1 time meal Daal and Roti or 1 Biryani cost around 10-20 AED you can multiply and set up ur mind. 3. Internet and Phone Very important need and really expensive in here, Home Internet basic starter package for accommodation starts from 389+Vat so around 409 AED (lets suppose in a room 8 person shares 1 internet connection it will be 51 AED. For personal Mobile you need atleast 30-50 AED balance a month depending on usage it can be higher. All Voip calling applications are blocked here so u cannot call with whatsapp/ imo / fb etc normally. You need a good vpn for calling or Official Voip app Botim with monthly Subscription. Btw you can use Zoom or Teams for free calls. Please consider all these basic living costs before coming. All in all living cost depends on you maximum can be any number, minimum u need at-least 2000 ( Healthy food is really important, as they say health is wealth, as Junaid bhai said once u get sick no one will come forward its normal you are on your own. Good Luck and Good Hunting for your next job in Middle East.

As someone who was born in the UAE and has lived there for 29 years i would like to share a few things : • things have changed a lot in the last 10 years in regards to job market and its culture • Now the most valuable people in UAE are westerners and white people. • you will always have to work harder than others because of the color of your skin and because of the country you belong to. • the worst boss will always be a pakistani boss and best boss will always be an ARAB or American. • if you wish to network and socialize with upper class people you will have to suppress your Conservative side and be more open minded. • if your going for the first time from Pakistan specially, then keep in mind you have to obey the rules and abide by them which is something you might not be used to over here. • never pick fights with people specially while driving because you don't know who the other person might turn out to be and can legally ruin your life. Lastly I would just say that despite UAE having its issues its still the best place in the world to live in if you can afford it. Allah hum sab ki khahishato ko pura kare or sab ka khyaal rakhe. Ameen

Must needed video... Well my experience and few misconceptions... 1: Single Pakistani Female can't work their alone I came in 2019 alone even nobody was there to pick me from airport... 2: Dubai is totally safe for females 3: Now as per new rule company can change your visa status within country. 4: Don't you dare I repeat "Don't" go without attested educational documents. (Trust me it will save you from ban) 5: Now a days there is new trend companies are asking to work for 3-6 months on visit visa, as Mr Junaid mentioned its illegal but still ppl r working 🙄 6: As a new bee try to save money as much as you can because now a days common problem in approximately every company is delay in salary, and delay could be 4 or may be 5 months. 7: People who don't know how to cook you can go for home made mess which will cost you 200-400 AED per months depends upon the area with two time meals. (I have one Pakistani mess provider exactly home made taste) Good Luck!!

@@ruthmalik652 Well I can guide you according to Punjab educational institutions. I am from Lahore, so what I did steps are mentioned below Step 1: Go to Lahore board with your 9th and 10th DMC with Degree of Matriculation Plus 1st year and 2nd year DMC with FA/Fsc/ICS degree There you will submit minimal fee and give them all the documents. Detailed guidance you can get from the window as well in BISE head office (this procedure will take minimum 1-2 weeks) Step 2: From Lahore board you will get sealed envelopes (Don't open envelope) Next step is HEC (I have done Bcom then MBA) Documents: Sealed envelopes + Bachelor all DMC and degree + Master DMC and degree HEC appointment you can book from website or you can go without appointment as I went in 2016. Its one day procedure you have to pay again minimal amount. Step 3: Go to MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affair Pakistan) get your last degree attested ( you have to buy two postal tickets which are available in the office) Step 4: you have to send your degree to sasha for UAE embassy attestation (It will take 15- 16 working days) Once you are in Dubai, Go to Al tawar center and get last attestation which will cost you approximately 160 AED (If I am not wrong) Now its completed... PS: If you have money and you can afford 700 to 1000 AED then just simply go to Dubai there are so many companies they will do this for you.

Mostly covered in the video. For me personally what worked was to get in touch with even the distant acquaintances there before going. Best is to talk with alumni already working in UAE and in the same field, also respectfully try to meet them keeping their busy schedule in mind. Even if you are not successful in you visit, these connections might help you out later in your professional life. You learn a lot when you travel and helps out a great deal in removing "kuwain ka maindek" thinking from our mindsets.

Before you leave: 1. Practice proper grooming and dressing. Try not to look like a khansama. 2. Learn basic domestic skills: Basic food preparation, laundry, cleaning,, and mending. You should be able to sew the button back on your shirt! 3. Clean up your resume/CV. Study some Western resume styles and language used. Spelling and grammar mistakes are your biggest enemy. 4. Learn to talk to women. Learn proper eye contact, hand shake, and how to gracefully conduct yourself under female authority. Yes women do run the world out there! 5. Develop a good work ethic. Learn to own your job, be results oriented, and set priorities. 6. Speak and write basic English clearly even if your vocabulary is limited. A good delivery goes a long way. 7. Develop good teamwork skills. From roommates to coworkers-it’s all about teamwork there. And one more.... 8. Etiquette. Politeness doesn’t mean acting weak and vulnerable in front of authority for a few moments. Habits such as scratching yourself in public, picking your nose, loudly clearing your throat, spitting and littering, adjusting your crotch, and staring at women etc do get noticed, and will be to your detriment.

Another advice, the dressing for Interviews, formal, which are actually White and Sky Blue colour, tie must complement the shirt, but most important jacket or coat. Wear 2 piece Suit and last wear a fragrance, formal fragrance, in other words day fragrance. This is because Arabs like good Dressing, Fragrance and last a good pen, could be fountain or ball point but fancy one. One should always have pen, this all will help you, the first impression is the last impression.

But I didn't go since I was being told the amount is not much to survive as a single person as rentals are too much. Also HR was a south Indian and she was rude . But it is okay. I visited Dubai last year and found out it was quite right decision. Regards, Fellow Indian.

Very nice video and good points covered. One thing I would like to mention is that now we don't need to exit Dubai to transfer to company visa. Once you accept the offer, they will ask for your Passport copy and apply for visa. Within 2-3 days, they will give you the approval page from ministry. That will not be the actual visa but that is enough to start working because it's an official document.

For all the people going to middle east, please don't spoil your youth in these countries. Try for the countries who at least give you rights and recognition ( Europe, USA, Australia ). Middle east will exploit your potential and in the long run you will suffer. Talking with experience.
I'd say go to the countries with high saving potential like Qatar, Oman or Kuwait for 2-3 years, get your fjnances in order and then migrate to other countries in Europe, North America or Australia.
