I'm an European born to Pakistani parents. So I was raised in Europe, having said that I recently visited Karachi (mother's birth town) after almost 9 years. And I have to agree, let it be that people have "evolved" when it comes to culture(dressing, restaurants, etc) They lack A LOT in service attitude. That's one sector that needs a lot of polishing. There are a lot of things I noticed, and experienced during my time there, but it will drag this post a lot. But we need to appreciate, value and respect (which is a mutual thing and goes both ways) Our people have unfortunately the "landlord" mentality, we think being/talking humble/modest is a sign of "weakness" I went away with a lot of mix disappointed feelings from PK this time around, and I definitely feel the customer or just the word "service", needs a hell of a lot of work. Fyi, I would not call a customer "God" (i know it was a form of speech) but any form of a "guest" let it be a customer, is a rizq/barakah bringer :-)

Agreed! This "landlord" mentality is bringing the whole country down. I haven't been back home in 14 years due to some reasons. But my mom visits every year and a half to two years. She tells me how rude shopkeepers are to customers and if you have a complaint, the customer is treated with the so much disrespect.

True Human I am not doing MBA, still in bachelors. I pay around 13,000 CAD per semester on tuition fees. There are 2 semesters per year with an option to take summer school and finish degree early. Otherwise I live with my uncle who is already settled so cost of living is minimised. Traveling is actually my biggest cost which is about 100 CAD per week. I know MBA semester fees is more than double of this amount but it finishes in 2 years in Canada

Totally agree with what you said. Usually seeing and noticing all these stuff at the stores here in Canada. They’ve specialized teams who design all the arrangements of aisles and then sends the pictures to store managers and they appoint their aisle workers to setup everything according to those pictures and then the district managers come to see the wether the store is setup as per their design or not. Why do people keep asking him to get into politics? I think he's doing a fabulous job teaching the masses. It definitely makes a difference when someone greets you getting in or out of a store. Some store owners go attend to customers themselves by striking a conversation. I've always been won over by that and have never left empty handed.
