Im from Mumbai and In Mumbai many gujjus and marwaris are actually going abroad and applying for engineering and medical jobs. Cuz retail businesses are seriously falling dowm due to online businesses. And adani, amabani and tata oligarchy. Also in retail if u know most work 8-10 hre+ everyday also. No specific holiday.

Family business is mostly toxic, iam currently in 2nd year in bca and my father has kept me in his business from 6 years when i was in 8th class, since i have to give most of the time in business and get less time for studies which effected my score in class 10th and 12th , i just wanted to focus my time in studies, but the family business became my 1st priority, it easy to say (papa ka dhandha accha hota hai) But it effects you very much.
