I am disapointed by the Government beause they have not created new PSU's that work in new fields, technology is always advancing and new fields like Solar panels installations, Solar wafer manufacturing, Wind Trubine Manufacturing, Wind Turbine deployement, Commercial Airoplane R&D and manufacturing, Hydrogen generation and distribution, Electric battery R&D and manufacturing, Electric vehicle manufacturing, Aircraft carrier Building and ship building, AI company and Data center deployement etc etc. PSU were created after independence to create a backbone of India manufaturing in sectors like power, telecom, electricity distribution, oil and gas exploration and distribution etc etc but the leaders of today have forgot that they need to pump huge money into new technology companies and not just rely on private sector, private sector does everything for profit and it can not sustain 5-10 years of losses but the government can and they should have already created these gaints that would have created millions of jobs.

I will tell my own story,I have scored 70% in 10 and 12 th with 87.56 % tile in mht cet (engineering) and really to be honest I only repaired pcs by running commands in windows recovery environment and doing other experiments 😂and my father suggested to pursue computer science....he really don't know about computer 😅 Else I don't what I have hobbies and interests so naturally I have to with father suggestion Just learn to make decisions...even if fail or doesn't work but at a point you have to make decisions But from 1-2 years I started to watch anime and stuff and I really want to make anime but 😅as I digged down the things I changed my plan to make japnese comic ...It's different reason and can't explain those things So I have discussed those things with family but you know they denied But really I have so thought,thinked so much that literally I end up with this though You live once,nor parents nor friends and nor relatives will remember as we age responsibilities increases and we tend to prioritise responsibility rather than ownself and also our body starts to degrade and at deathbed we always regret and say " if I did had courage at that time my life was different" yes this is reality ,some things would go wrong but if we atleast try to pursue the regrettness of trying would be less rather than giving up. Challenges are there and you cannot take alone so it's important to talk with people (like friends or people who are in other fields, etc) ,think , have courage to take risks and lastly have backup plans too(every things does not give 100% guarantee, most darkest realities to be accepted from heart)

Sir I have recently graduated with a master's degree from an IIT, and I am unemployed currently. I completely agree with the skillset and academia gap that you have mentioned. The courses and assignments are so outdated in core branches that s huge skill-gap is created due to it. Also, the other factor is number of companies visiting the campus for campus placements have drastically reduced this year. Maybe due to the global economic slowdown or maybe due to the "over-hiring" effects during 2020 and 2021 placement seasons this is happening. Please discuss the reason for this phenomenon and also give some tips to fresh engineering graduates like me that how can we tackle this unemployment phase and become "employable". The Real problems of Unemployment and underemployment are : 1: Extreme competition in every job exams due to multiple job rounds . This results in a huge time loss of a candidate who are giving such exams 2: Private jobs are wanting experience more than 5 years or experience in a specialised technology about 4 years . Such things most of the people lack . 3: Corruption, reservation and recommendations and referrals in all jobs results in such underemployment. 4: Pressure of family and siblings to give govt exam and become topper. Lack of support to do self employment or business. Bad parenting is also a result of such consequences. 5: unpaid internship and meagre salary jobs also result in career failure and unemployment. 6: New startups are not generating any employment. Another crazy trend nowadays is everyone is running after doing CS AND IT related engineering courses!!! Trust me becoming software engineer is not all about shiny money that job brings (not system engineer from services TCS, INFOSYS,WIPRO crowd) needs constant upgrading your skills, unlearning things in 1-2 years and getting used to new tech constantly, facing layoffs , stress that job brings is unreal.people don't looks at those things and just see money. ,Its not everyones cup of tea. If you check career of and avg software engineer in india they tend to move to managerial roles after few years and loose touch of new tech and comes at risk of being laid off.
