Great overview of the Jobava, good study video for those learning the opening. It would have been fun to show the trap vs. the Pirc/KID. It’s so brutal.

Started watching your channel as a 800 to leaen dragon sicillian, now I'm a 1600 and STILL learning. The Jobava is my main line and it's amazing cause your opponent can't just freestyle!

2:16 you can also play Bb4 check and on c3 you move back and you defend c7. White could push the b pawn but that doesnt really give him a advantage

When attacked with the pawn their f6 knight always goes to e4 forcing a trade and putting an annoying pawn there. How to deal with this? I think you need to have the Bishop ready or have already traded bishops before attacking the knight

Hey this video is amazing! I just wanted to know if its possible for you to make a video on middle game concepts or even just how to maneuver your queen on early Nc6 Nb4 moves by black attacking the queen after they exchange bishops on d3. I find it hard to really find solid plans after they make this maneuver. Thanks for the instructive opening scenarios!

1:35 wouldnt Bh3 be a good move? To open the H file (if they take) for your rook and plan to castle long, having a huge attack ready for if they castle short. Only question is what if they dont take😂
@happynessblaster2365
@happynessblaster2365 Жыл бұрын
That would interesting yet e3 is just simpler and stronger. You are are up a pawn out of the opening and you maintain the advantage by forcing opponent knight to move whilst defending your e5 pawn when they take your bishop. Bishop h3 does open h file but leaves your e5 pawn a very easy target and opponent can potentially equalize whilst it is harder if you just play e3 and trade off your pieces and don’t get mated.

As a 1800 i can defeat any london variation easily, not because am an 1800, i was a 350 when i started, and i kicked the london ass from 350 to 1800 Conclusion: if ur a london player then its time to go play checkers, london is just a solid openning relying on ur opponent blundering instead of pure startegy
