Super super nice guy. Have met him twice. I was telling him how his movie, To Heal a Nation, made my father cry and that was the only time Ive seen that happen. He was genuinely touched and thanked my dad for his service. His wife did not seem to remember that role (she was with him), so he told her about the character he portrayed. Lovely man.

My friend is a huge fan of the Stalked By My Doctor franchise. So I got him a cameo and I thought it was low effort it would be funny. Eric gave a genuinely lovely and message. Gave personal recommendations for books and music related to my friends' interests. It was outstanding for even the level of the average cameo video. He delivered far above what was expected.

Thank you for this video! I think Mr Roberts is an outstanding actor… in the past I wondered why he was on so many crappy movies, but it just made me respect him even more. No matter the role, no matter the budget and no matter the script, he’s always good, he always makes an effort. Now, instead of wondering why he’s in some bad movies, I wonder why other A List actors don’t do the same.

I mean.. even though he's in a lot of stuff (so many) I always see him as the character he's playing. I don't see him as Eric Roberts. He's crazy good. Julia's good too but she doesn't drown into her character (sometimes she does). Julia, I feel it's more about her screen presence. But that's just my opinion.

Adore Eric Roberts. A great actor. Excellent in Star 80, The Pope of Greenwich Village, Runaway Train and so much more. I have a personal favourite for The Ambulance, a bloody good film, I don't care what anyone says. I would love to see him cast in more meaty roles. Come on Hollywood, cast this legend and let him stretch his acting chops. He is one of the greats.

I think Eric Roberts is an underrated actor. But his choice in films and probably the speedy drugs made him seem weird/odd. He was better looking than Julia but evidently a more intense person. She is not intense enough, him too much. Love him though. Going to watch some Eric Roberts movies.

An excellent actor and one of my favorite actors! I had the pleasure of meeting him at Lenscrafters in Sherman Oaks, CA and he was a humble and appreciative gentleman. My favorite films with him are STAR 80 and The Pope Of Greenwich Village. He was absolutely outstanding in both performances which placed him in legendary status!

After watching him in The Best Of The Best i was more than happy to never watch another movie with him in ever. That over the top crying and acting tunes me straight out of the escapism that a movie experience is supposed to give you. But the The Expendables and The Dark Knight get released and he’s pretty damn good in them,so the stuff he’s done now he’s gotten older is watchable but i can say for sure I’ll never watch his earlier movies

I saw Runaway Train as a second film at a double feature. I cant even remember what the other film was, but I remember Runaway Train. You know a movie is good when its the side dish to the main attraction and you can't even remember what the main attraction was cause the side movie was so much better. On one hand I miss double features, on the other it makes me feel old cause holy shit it was a long time ago now when that was a thing.
