3:25:05 Because I’ve recently experienced this, I thought it might be helpful to share what I’ve learned. As a Christian, I’ve always had trouble with verses in the bible that call for us to be meek. However I’ve learned that meekness is often misused and understood. Here for example, it is used as a synonym for inaction. However I’ve recently learned that it doesn’t mean weak or a that you’re a push over. It comes from the it comes from the Greek “Prautes” which translates to decided strength of disciplined calmness. It’s having the power to wield a sword when needed, but knowing when to keep it sheathed. Hope that’s helpful.

We had a guy running on the street on base when I was in Iraq with his head phones on. He didn't hear a truck coming and ran right in front of it and got hit. He survived but it ended his deployment. Allot of lectures on situational awareness followed.

Growing up I used to enjoy climbing tall fir trees on our property with no fear of heights. Suffer from vertigo nowadays, not sure if it's because of meds or what changed. Thought of taking up skydiving or bungee jumping to overcome it as I am fine if I have the knowledge of being strapped to a parachute or safety line. Not saying I would be completely free of trepidation, just considerably more confident.

Is there a reason why Jocko and Goggins are the only special forces guys that are out here motivating people, and why are there only SEALS doing it? Is there something about SEAL training that attracts certain types of people, or does the training bring it out of people? Maybe there are other special forces guys that I don't know about? I ask because whenever I see a motivational video with military people it's mostly Jocko, Goggins, and every now and then McRaven (love that speech he gave).
