The reason Jocko jokingly to Stumpf as the retired admiral is because Stumpf once had occasion to throw on some rank and masquerade around in the world as an O-6 or whatever for a few days while TDY. I don't remember the details of the story anymore although I'm certain I've heard him tell it at some point. It clearly delighted Jocko however, because he seems to chuckle about it any time Andys name gets brought up in conversation.

Love the new commercial for "Mango Mayhem". Especially when Echo totally pulls a Doc Brown at the end of Back To The Future exit. Remember story by elmer keith he shot one thanking it broke it back with rifle in deep snow. He walk up and poke it in rump fully intending the shoot it at 1st sign of movement it came up all at once and throwed him down the mountain before he could shoot loosing his rifle. He ended up shooting it a couple of times with single action as it jumped up and down because it thought keith was under him in the deep snow. Wounded game of any kinds deserves your full attention and caution but also understand getting in there as I have trailed several wounded bears into thick brush but not with a spear.

Ok land the air plane... First try to fly as long as possible to get a feel for everything. 2nd once proficient fly as low as possible at the lowest speed that will maintain flight. try to land in water with with tail hitting first. If it's a big jet you have radio to air port get some one to tell you all the details. If no air port get high as possible slow down till you start lossing altitude and that's your speed.
