It's interesting,I'd actually be interested to hear what he thinks about the Rambo movies since John Rambo is supposed to be a Vietnam vet. I agree with Oliver Stone(who like John,is a Vietnam War veteran),I think First Blood was the best out of all of the Rambo movies. I love how Mike has such respect and admiration for Stryker! I respect and admire him, too! I'm surprised no one has tried to turn his story into a movie yet like how Ron Kovic(Born On The Fourth Of July) and Chris Kyle(American Sniper)'s stories were turned into movies!

Mike is right in saying that we need to get these MACV/SOG warriors stories while they are still around. It pains me to think of all the great tales from WWII that many vets took to their graves, and will never be heard. Having Mike Glover on, really added to the podcast. He asked a lot of really good questions that spurred conversation with information I had not heard from Tilt before. Awesome show guys, would love to see more like this!

This was such a great podcast that I've listened to it twice so far and I'm sure wil listen to it again. The idea to have Mike Glover, of whom I'm an enormous fan on the show with John striker Meyer was absolutely brilliant. On one end you had the way it was and on the other end you have the way it is now. One of the things I enjoyed most was Mike explaining just how much the way they did in Vietnam is used in the way they do things today. I really hope you'll consider, when appropriate, interviewing an older vet with a more recent vet, because of the interactions are similar to the ones in this podcast, they will also be fantastic.

Got a big smile on my face when I saw the thumbnail on my homepage. Been listening to a lot of podcasts featuring these two men.

Mike living vicariously through John and all of us living vicariously through people like Andy, Mike, DJ, Slayde, Jocko, Jack, all these guys documenting their own life experiences and allowing us insight into what it was really like is fucking fantastic, especially for guys like me who tried to join and serve and just got pushed back and gave up, love it

Great episode. One of my favorites yet. The conversations between the older and newer is epic.
