Depends in part on how well conditioned you are. If your conditioning is on point it takes a lot more to tire your muscles. I notice that if I’m sluggish following a heavy lift day or big sprint day, it’s usually because my CNS is fatigued rather than my muscles. In those cases, i just do a long run or some bodyweight supersets; enough to keep working and improving but not enough to increase my fatigue.
