It's the best watching the video itself, especially to see the guests. You'd never think Echo or JP were as big as they are with how soft their voices are. Plus, you can't beat the black-and-white format of the videos - god, I hope they never change that.

I'm from the army side but I dig the show. Spent my fair share of time up in the triangle myself. Too bad you couldn't have gotten Maj Tom Greer on before he passed. He was the Delta commander on the ground in tora bora. Wrote several books under the pen name Dalton Fury. If you get a chance to read them i would HIGHLY recommend. Another couple dudes from the army side I would recommend having on are Pat McNamara, retired Delta Sergeant Major, he designed the Delta fitness program amogst all kinds of other killer shit, and Tom Spooner, also retired Delta. Doing a lot of positive shit now.

@rsj97018 жыл бұрын
There is heavy , heavy controversy surrounding Kyle. I'm not denigrating his service. I'm referring to the "other" stuff that can be readily found online and confirmed through various sources. He might have caught the "fame" bug and became opportunistic in trying to use a fellow Old Timer Seal who had/has notoriety. The story never made sense on the surface - do some digging.. even listen to Joe Rogan Podcast with Jesse Ventura -- very interesting. Unfortunately some war heroes can become self delusional. It's even odd going to a shooting range with someone who's on mental health watch and ultimately took Kyles life as well as his... Kyle was shooting for glory outside of the "Teams".. as well. Sad sad tale.

Wow! I grew up almost the same exact way in Cali. I was inspired to fly by Pappy Boyington in Fresno. A family friend flew Spitfires in the Battle for Britain and my flight instructor "Pops" flew the B26 in WW2. Grandpa was a DD guy (USS Perry) and fought from Pearl Harbor until the surrender at Tokyo. My dad was freaky strong too and hammered me as well. So no surprise I joined the USAF as a pilot and then Desert Shield/Storm came to be. It was so frustrating to be on the bench so to speak because I was still in training at the time. Great pod cast. I love all of them.
