Devante' and Dalvin got so little credit for the unique "sound of Jodeci," from the first album up to The Show, the After Party, and the Hotel. Those two literally produced all those albums.

You’re absolutely right man. It was mostly DeVante but Dalvin did do a few tracks on the 2nd and 3rd album💿 The group was formed by DeVante. The album titles, lyrics to most of the songs, all of the sound on most of the songs, vocal arrangements and overall concept of the albums etc. were DeVante’s work. I believe K-Ci, JoJo and Dalvin did assist in writing on a few songs on each album but the overall concept was D-Swing’s vision. Dalvin wrote and produced a few tracks on the 2nd album and 3rd album. Dalvin on a drum set is a thing to see. Just like DeVante on Piano and Guitar, it’s a thing of beauty. This iconic group is like PB&J, just fit so well together. 🎩🥃

Mytypel they had a huge party in Brooklyn in the early 2000s 2003 I was graduating HS I was legal btw and me and my homegirls went it was there reunion tour party and dalvin was eating kootchie on the balcony not just one kootchie but 3 diffrent females he took a shot out of my friends ass it was crazy I’ve listened to there music different ever since they really bout it😭I was also asked by dalvin some other stuff I wish not to say that I’ve never been asked by any other man till this day!
