You have that backwards....Boyz II Men can harmonize but Jodeci can saaang'! Don't get me wrong Jodeci can harmonize as well, they're harmonies are totally different from Boyz II Men because they stack theirs differently and they have that gospel feel to their harmonies. Two totally different groups but the best of their era. I grew up on these dudes in the 90's and singing all of their songs with my boys. I miss this music and groups and artists who truly sing.

Airybabyy24 I agree ☝️ 💯 percent. Don’t you just miss artist like Sade, After Seven, NE, Tony Toni Tone’ just name a few that when you knew you were going to enjoy the concert, real professionals. The world has become so into sex, less clothings you are wearing the better, and it’s worst with the females taken it all off leaving the guys not to care about how they react to them, that’s the reason women are so disrespected how can you demand respect when you have a shoes lace in your butt for a bathing suit 👙, the guys have seen all that was suppose to be the gift to that special guy, In order to be respected YOU MUST FIRST RESPECT YOURSELVES, Think about it, they do sit around talking and laughing 😂 about you , like comparing you to each other, take control, only you all can become Ladies again. Stop ✋ being the topic at the barber shop or pool hall, or guys night out at the bowling alley.

Devante Swing is a titan of the musical industry this goes without any doubt, but why people don’t just give him , his due and leave him alone, he made perfect music and remember none of us live perfect life’s, we all make mistakes growing into our selves. He has the ability to see and write and produce and arrange great legendary undying hit songs, and he was the motor for the automobiles, Jodeci. Without Devante , on Jodeci. Arranged and produced great artist, naming a few Missy Timberland and Mr Tupac Shakur . I hope he’s entered into the music house of Fame, he truly deserves it.

Thanks, I feel the same way,he didn't always get his props
Agree 💯%. I've read about people speaking on his past dealings with the basement crew, other issues from bad money dealings to drugs etc... saying this not to excuse bad behavior, but he was young, very young, young enough to be impressionable by the wrong influences and many have been and still are in that industry. There is so much thrown at artist, that world is full of manipulation, greed, etc... some good of course because that's how we get amazing music but a lot of bad, so just imagine being a young man with all that genius, all the responsibility of carrying a group and then trying to carry a host of other artist, it's a lot of pressure...just saying there should be a lot more grace, & forgiveness instead of holding people to their past. The facts are this man was and still is extremely gifted and deserves his flowers while he still lives. If nothing else pray for his health and well being, actually pray for all of Jodeci, their contribution to music is a treasure. But Whether he/they receive the accolades of "men" or not his gift is God given and no one can take that away, I just hope he knows that also.

You know how you have Kraft mac and cheese and you have homemade mac and cheese and you can taste the difference? It's the same with music, this is Homemade Mac and Cheese music smh not package and made by an institution built on mass production, but when making music was very focused on the sound and quality, not the quantity. This is the different between soulful music and industry music.

It's rarely mentioned that Devante and Dalvin's dad is a Pastor / singer or of Little Cedric and the Hailey singers.

Yep DeVante was the musical genius of the group. Writer, producer, leader.

What always captured my enjoyment of artist is how well they showed the audience who was in control of the stage, no one did it better they owned it, very much their home. You knew you were in to relieved more than what you paid for. They had that from the beginning, and said not if we get famous, but When we get famous, they were always positive of their destiny. They will always be on the top shelve, giving other groups something to reach for, but honestly I don’t believe their will be a group with all they possess, one of them being Devante Swing.
