+Anton Tati She really is a very good actress and she also gave the great Jennifer Lawrence invaluable lessons in the Beaver and helped shape her career as an actress. I love Jodie Foster because she is so talented and at the same time down to earth and unpretentious like Jennifer Lawrence.

Truly. Check out the Interview Magazine interview of Jodie by Andy Warhol, circa 1980. At 17 she goes toe-to-toe with NYC art world mucky-mucks and her intellect cuts like a knife, short and sharp. Stunning then and now.

+Andrew Williams If you ignore its politics, TYT has actually a strong business model, really low-cost (just commentary, instead of creating original work),. Believe me that getting journalists to write lengthy, nuanced pieces is so much more difficult and expensive. Read Cenk's columns at Huffington Post, they're lacklustre. TYT have loads of channels/ brands to cater for different niches in pop-culture. Also worth noting that they're the only "self-serious" (production values) news show in the KZbin space. It's pretty fascinating if you've watched for long, like me, to see their growth.
@Justyburger
@Justyburger 8 жыл бұрын
+AY Berhe (thebiggerhand) Interesting comment. I've been watching a few years now. At one stage I quit because of some strong elements I did not agree with, however I returned to them because I like enough of what they discuss. Even if my views and philosophies are different, I still find value in their views and this interview was top class with Jodie Foster. I have strongly agreed with their position on money in politics and police brutality, but am quite strongly opposed to their take on global geo-politics such as the position on Russia and Putin. I also do not share their degree of Liberalism, being more of a social conservative myself. I'm also not as pro Bernie Sanders as they are, but I don't come strongly against him either. But i'll definitely agree that TYT has a good business model and they do their jobs very professionally. They are sort of giving news of the news. It's an added take on the manipulation of the mainstream media, which I like.

+Al Mahdi Alaoui its actually not that difficult to be a good interviewer, if youre interested you will inevitably be a good interviewer/it will be a good interview. the problem is, if you do this professionally, at some point you are gonna have to interview someone who doesnt interest you and/or who doesnt have anything interesting to say - this is where it really shows whether or not youre a good interviewer. ben said right at the beginning he adores her and she is obviously an extremely interesting person, so this one isnt really hard..
