We need to finish the off-grid A-Frame!

In this video we are working on a bit of a time crunch. We need to make the cabin into a cute off- grid "Glamping" situation so we can stay in it in a few days.

Ha. That's what I call an 'old man ladder'. Old guys always have those rickety ass wood ladders and just refuse to get rid of them. I'm a service tech and the ladders I have are for outside work. So a lot of times a customer will say, 'Oh, let me go get you one.' and if it's an old guy, I always ask before he goes to get the thing if it's an old wood one. If it is, I tell them I'll figure out something else. I keep bugging my dad to get rid of his. Think I'm just going to buy him a new one and throw the wood one on the fire pit. 😀

The ladder adds extra excitement to our building process. 😂 We have all of our "good" ladders at the other cabin, so we had to resort to using our "old man ladder". I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to step foot on it.

I think i may know what the event is if it's what you said in the email. I'll keep it a secret. Do you plan on insulating the ceiling/roof to help deaden some of the sound when it rains as it will get loud. Good luck with the rest of the project!!

We are just out here doing fun things as a couple and with the kiddos. And learning a lot along the way. We also love making videos. We just do what feels right. We do not live in our cabins. We do stay in them and we have friends and family who are always welcome to them, too.
