Hi Jody! Thank you for this channel full of beautiful recipes!! I am from Québec but now live in Buff Bay. I am blessed to have 2 ackee trees in my yard and have been eating & sharing a lot lately 😊 There is a special someone (Jerome) you know very well who has been cooking his recipe here while taking a break from working on the house beside my place. Good cooking runs in the family 😉 Maybe one day we’ll be gladly sharing a meal together! Blessings to you !

Thanks for sharing this recipe Ms Jody. You have taught me how to cook a lot of your Jamaican dishes very well. I love the way you explain things. It also helps that we are in the same location 😚 I usually use Cawood saltfish, but it's not as good as it used to be. Which brand did you use in this video? It looks better than the one I get. Also your ackee is nice and chunky, which tin brand is that? I understand that tin can never compare with fresh ackee, but the one in your video looks lovely and not in broken pieces. Again thank you for doing what you do for us.🥰
@jodycookingg2 жыл бұрын
Your most welcome,glad to hear that🙏🏾 I don’t remember the brand of the salt fish I used it’s really thick in size… your absolutely right it really is chunky i was surprised I try my best not to mix it too much so it doesn’t marsh out, the Ackee I used call Dee Caribbean Ackee it’s very good brand, thanks so much for watching. Well appreciate🙏🏾❤️
