GREAT idea Jody! I forgot about using these shadow boxes in replace of the cookie tins! I still have some left from last year but this gives me more options, especially if Dollar Tree doesn't offer the clear lid cookie tins again this year, or they bring them in late! Thanks! This turned out so great! And the fences really added a special touch! Haven't seen them at DT yet!

Yes, Dollar Tree has Wooden Nativity Scenes kits this year. I bought some for family. I was wanting to set one up in the center of a wreath I was going to make. Your video, gave me the idea to use the bank, you used. I went to 3 Dollar Trees to find the Nativity kits. I enjoy your videos.

Hi Jody, this was so cute. I made the one you did a couple years ago in the tin with the clear cover, and it is still one of my favorite crafts. I used a gift bag for the background and it matched the figures I put inside perfectly. I will keep an eye out for the house bank and maybe try doing one. Happy Holidays. Jody, I use hot glue on my fairy lights all the time & have never had a problem. I'm sure a cooler temp glue would be super ok. I never use a lot, just a dot; doesn't need more to hold.
