I wish someone at WFAN would post the heated argument Joe had with Francesca back in 1997 the night of the season-ending loss at Detroit which knocked them out of playoff contention. That was back when Joe had the overnight; Joe rightfully held Parcells responsible for their failures in that game, and Francesa called in to defend him. Felt like it went on for an hour-plus and they skipped commercials/updates.

Some teams just respond better when the QB under center is just a guy. Look at Washington and their turnaround with Taylor Heinicke. He's not the main reason why they're winning, and nobody thinks he's the long-term answer. But the team rallies around him and it has elevated the play of everyone in the locker room. That locker room will run through a brick wall for Heinicke.

I had never listened to Joe before. Videos with him in them have been suggested, but I didn't know who he was and therefore didn't watch. This guy is great! Knows his stuff, obviously a big fan like myself (we're probably about the same age), and he tells it like it is, which is just a New York thing, we don't mince words. I look forward to seeing more of him. I also didn't know who Tierney is. Tiki everyone knows. I've lived in Florida since 1972, so everyone here knows the Barber brothers.

Minny is not a methodical offense. Against the Bills, they put up 33, against New England they put up 33 points and those are two great defenses. Now with TJ Hockenson, he is putting up great numbers. The Bears have packed it in so we will have to see.

no it wasn't great. at one point they were top 10 in points allowed. however, over the last few weeks they HAVE become dominant. right now they're no. 5 in points allowed and top 10 in just about every other defensive category. this is the reason why i say they will CRUSH the vikings 35 - 17

Joe Benigno rants are always entertaining, but honestly this kinda stuff is what prevents any prospective QBs from developing on the Jets. So if Mike White flames out after his first game like he did last year will he be trash too? It can't always be fire & brimstone with these players. The QB position is hella cerebral. It takes some serious maturing to get your feet securely under you. Guys will make mistakes in how they handle themselves. You got to leave a window for redemption. If the media crushes a young player to the point of no return for being immature there's No chance for them to develop unless they get it right the first step out of the gate. And I don't care how physically talented a player is they will fail if they aren't afforded room for self-correction. I'm hearing guys in the media saying Zach should never play another game in a Jet uniform. Like geez, reel that in abit. If he corrects his attitude & mechanics I have No problem seeing him behind center again.

Zach is like a very good AAA baseball player. He’s better than the rest of the AAA players, however, he is just an average MLB player. Wilson’s fundamentals have been horrendous and I have been shocked that this change took so long. This is what happens when you anoint a player based on draft location or salary. He needs to sit and learn. It’s so funny that the same offense that has looked so inept suddenly looked like a competent and competitive unit. Speaks volumes about the ineptitude of Wilson’s play. If it wasn’t for the outstanding defensive play this season this team would be 0-11!

Mike white is 6*5 and gets the ball out quickly because he can process the field faster. I don't think that his upside is all that great but I definitely would roll with him during this season. Zack Wilson has mechanics issues as the number 2 draft pick of the 2021 draft and that's scary because he can even throw accurately to the flats and bubble screens. I think the jets need to address the quarterback issue in the offseason.

I agree with you about Zach vs MW, Zach has the talent, much better than ZW. I think right now MW is the better QB and we can't sacrifice the rest of the team while ZW struggles to find himself. My take is if MW hits MN,etc and has bad games that answers our questions. I truly think ZW felt he was going to be the starter and bc he assumed that he didn't feel a need to get better, in his mind he was blaming the team. Hopefully this gets across to him that being the no 2 pick doesn't guarantee him a career. Jets coddled Zach and that was a mistake, when you do that no one developes. If MW screws up I bet he would blame himself. Another little MW fact, he targeted 11 different receivers, Moore showed why he was drafted. Zach? Corey Davis, maybe GW or bust.

The big thing and point is that Mike Wilson got everyone involved and that's why Denzel Mims and Elijah Moore requested a trade because they know that Zack is flawed mechanically with short passes and felt they were stuck with him. If mike white plays well lets roll with him but I think you need to bring a veteran in like Derek Carr to compete with these other two guys. Yeah man, with you on that one. Maybe White is the answer, maybe he's not. All I know is, this game and the Bengals game last year, were better than pretty much any game Zach has ever had 🤷‍♂️ maybe statistically I'm wrong, but the best thing I've ever thought about Zach over the last year and a half is "hey, he didn't make any mistakes 👍"

@@anthonykaras3713 yea the no turn over thing is cool if it's followed with AND 2 or 3 touchdowns. No oh.. he threw for 140 0 tds and 0 ints with a rushing td.
