From what we’ve been told by convention specialists, the funds that are raised are transferable to the nominee, whoever that turns out to be. That makes sense if for example Biden dies and Kamala decides not to run. Also, if the party selects a different nominee, the public will rally to her/him. It’s hard to donate when you feel ambivalent about the nominee. But if there’s a choice, I think you’ll see a tsunami of donations to whoever that person is. Don’t worry about the money or the ground get out the vote org. It’s the party’s money.

Biden isn't currently legally required to leave office, on January 6th Trumpet was.... it's not the same. Having said that, thanks to the Supreme Courts recent utterly insane ruling, Biden can refuse to leave office regardless of the outcome of the election...

Based on what exactly? trump incited an insurrection, created fake elector slates, brought over 60 election fraud cases to court (and lost them all) etc etc etc, so he didn't have to leave. Do you think Biden will do the same? Of course not, he understands the constitution, but above that he'll accept the results like a proper human, not a baby.

I find it hilarious Brits talking about Joe Biden who has bern married 45 years and has the most extraordinary career as a public servant in the American Government. Joe was Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee for 12 years and also Chair of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Because of this experience, Barack Obama as Joe to be his VP, for eight years. Now four years as President.
