Buona visione (e ascolto)!

His tech is a stand-up guy.. real polite and knows his shit. I recently saw another rig rundown for a well known band and their tech was a real dick jb lucked out with this dude

What I find most interesting about the video is that where there used to be a Way Huge Pork Loin, a well known staple of his rig, there now sits a Klon Centaur. Also, his signature fuzz penny is missing.

The tech is a very good player, listen to that vibrato. That said, the rig does just sustain forever.

For those turned off by the signature gear, remember that Joe does not have a record contract. Everything he does he pays for himself. He needs to promote himself every way he can to get ahead and continue making music.

yeah but it's still lame. Bunch of ego maniacs that don't get enough attention from the audience. if it wasn't ego driven then there would be no need to have your name put on it. I am so sick of every guitarist saying 'oh this is my new signature bla bla bla..... It gets old real fast. I would never buy a signature anything including pics. But I see what you are saying about the money and promo. But there are better ways to go about it because signature gear is aimed at sucker musicians not the fans.

The reason why joe doesn't use a strat anymore is because fender did a replica of the sparkly finish strat without fender asking

You mean the 2 Dumble amps.The van Weelden Twincklelands aren't cheap to order/buy,but you can buy 20 Twincklelands for the amount of money,you have to pay for a Dumble (when there is one for sale).

So basically it's a very huge sounding and super expensive 3 channel amp. I'm just a one channel amp guy(Plexi jcm800) or I'm happy with a tweed deluxe. I don't play stadium like Joe

Joachim Eskildsen true it has been done quite a few times but it's still kind of cool seeing some changes to his rig. E.g. Guitar choices, amps, pedals, etc. Love seeing the bursts coming out and the new custom Gibson guitars so I really don't mind seeing more of them.
@spicecrop
@spicecrop 10 жыл бұрын
Joachim Eskildsen Yeah and a super expensive Dumble and a high end les Paul. Then you are set. Of course you can fake the sound with a dumble clone stomp box.
@hammondvoodoo9555
@hammondvoodoo9555 5 жыл бұрын
I don't really understand what the fuzz is all about with these Dumbles. Yeah, they sound nice but are ridiculously expensive. Even if I could effort one it's not an amp I'd take on the road because of the constant fear that somebody would just steal it from me. A Marshall plexi sounds every bit as direct and punchy, so why bother anyway ...

Can’t get it done with a single Twin? So lame, he’s the only one who can hear the difference in that setting. Even the biggest amp geek isn’t going to really notice it in the front row. JB is a robot, he’s a good actor when it comes to feeling.

I agree. Too much complexity on purpose: guitar nerds (consumers) have reasons to buy gear. Clapton could fill stadiums with somebody's strat and a broken PA system and would still sound as Clapton.
