You know.. George is 73 as I'm writing this. His status as a pioneer and legend of rock & roll is untouchable, and he's gifted us with music that will last the test of time. But I'm more grateful for the fact that, after such a hard working career, he's been able to reach his 70's and enjoy them. Far too many great entertainers, not just musicians, die far too early. I often feel guilty that so many men and women spent their strongest years working to entertain us, sacrificing time with family (or having a family at all) and the regular perks of life we enjoy, only to pass away at 40, 50, 60 - before they ever got to slow down and start prioritizing themselves before their fans. Thank you, George and Joe, as well as your bands!

Had tix to see Joe this past march in Knoxville and then got a cancer diagnosis and placed on chemo. Missing that concert is what REALLY chapped my ass. Finally get the chance to see him in concert and fate gives me the 'Ol "F" you finger

@Michael Casino. Don't sweat the typo. George and Joe both seem like good people. Cool that George was supportive of Joe early on.
