You know.. George is 73 as I'm writing this. His status as a pioneer and legend of rock & roll is untouchable, and he's gifted us with music that will last the test of time. But I'm more grateful for the fact that, after such a hard working career, he's been able to reach his 70's and enjoy them. Far too many great entertainers, not just musicians, die far too early. I often feel guilty that so many men and women spent their strongest years working to entertain us, sacrificing time with family (or having a family at all) and the regular perks of life we enjoy, only to pass away at 40, 50, 60 - before they ever got to slow down and start prioritizing themselves before their fans. Thank you, George and Joe, as well as your bands!

George just yelled 'how much is the fine?'. George just yelled "cut a check and get this idiot off my stage. oh and turn this up, if we're paying the full amount we're getting our money's worth". I don't recall the amount but it was several thousand dollars.

George thorogood will always be my favorite guitarist I remember on his bad to the Bone tour in Akron Ohio I was wearing a white dress and looking fine on the second tier of the Jar arena ready to jump down on him and he looked at me and gave me the finger to come on down because they had to leave the stage underneath where I was sitting Security had to hold me back oh if I only would have made it to that first floor...... I LOVE YOU GEORGIE PORGIE
