Brother you don’t mourn alone. My mom passed December 2019 and I continue to grieve. Perhaps listening to “The Blues” doesn’t help. Joe is an awesome talent. His music is therapy for me. Most time when I listen I cry, but I’m not sad. In fact I’m grateful for my life’s experiences and those that have influenced me. Joe B is good medicine.

When it comes to music or the arts, there’s never just one “greatest “, it’s too subjective. It’s all about what we like, what speaks to us, what we can relate to. I’m a HUGE fan of JB. I love that I can listen to his music over and over and not tire of it. We had the pleasure of seeing him live a few years ago, took our son (25 years old at the time). I would do a thousand miles to see it again ... then still thousands more miles, until the end of my days. As long as my life goes on, I would like to travel and play Sloe Gin, get to the next concert and see it again ... thanks Joe !!

Such beautiful music and such a talented artist playing his guitar. More amazing than you ever know. Or shall I say what a fabulous band? I would acknowledge all of them with great talents.

When I watch this video, I really don't miss the 70's. In the 70's during the guitar solo they would have shown the face of the drummer or some girl in the audience. As a guitar player, here I have all I need.

Saw Joe and band twice at the Palais Theatre St Kilda Melbourne Australia The Tone, timing and pure brilliance of Joe has to be experienced to be believed The audience hang on to every note and those solos are truely spiritual. In fifty years he is the best I have ever seen and that Gibson talks, sings moans and everything in between

Amazing is an understatement. One of the most talented and gifted slow jam and guitar solo vocalists I have ever heard. He can also rock. In person has to be a once in a lifetime experience. He's definitely up there with Page, Hendrix and the greatest musicians I admire and respect. Print that and take it to the bank.
