Insanely steep, especially that first 1 minute (Dead Dog). The video gives no idea how steep any of that is. If you haven't ridden or walked it you really have no idea. I've trail run up that course... there wasn't much "running" done. Various sections were 'hands and feet' walking. On Dead Dog we had to perilously zig-zag using hands and feet to get up; slipping on the loose dirt would have resulted in a too long, skin-shedding slide with difficulty in self-arresting. Totally insane course! Kudos to all the riders.

With my weary old eyes I couldn’t see the line I would take before Joe had taken his line which was much faster than where I would have gone. That’s the difference between ‘them’ and ‘us’. I wear No Fear, they have No Fear.
